Does anyone know how long it takes from when nationwide text saying "offer issued" to when the hard copies are recieved?
Mine was around 3 working days and I think my solicitor recieved theirs pretty much around the same time. If you have online banking you can print it off from their. It's stored in your applications and quotes and then in documents.0 -
Amazed at the variation in everyone's timelines.
Up and down with our application as our first valuation was cancelled due to salaries being recorded as £0 but should now be back in track. Hope the rest isn't too difficult from here.0 -

I'm in receipt of a mortgage offer, however I have just been left £2K in a will. Should I bump up my deposit?
Other things I could spend the money on include fees, existing debt or stuff for me new house (sofa etc).
Thoughts? (not the ideal thread for this I know)0 -

If it was me, I would clear existing debt. Changing deposit now will affect your mortgage offer. Whilst this shouldn't be an issue it will delay things whilst your new offer is prepared.
Well done on the offer BTW0 -

Thanks for yours thoughts. I'm not too worried about the delay as a I have some time before exchange. Checking on the lenders online calculator the increased deposit does not improve my rate but does reduced the monthly payments obviously.
My existing debt is quite small and based on current repayments will be clear in 4 months.0
