Joining the wait as there is nothing else I can focus on....!
90LTV, first-time buyers, scotland
AIP (lloyds): 27 Mar
offer accepted: 29 Mar
meeting with MA: 6 Apr
full application (including one hard credit check and 2 soft): 7 April
payslips requested and sent: 7 Apr
valuation booked: 12 Apr
valuation: 13 Apr
it all seems very quick so far - anyone else have any experience with lloyds? how long from valuation to offer etc.?0 -
Joining in here as a first time buyer of a new build!
26/10/2020 First AIP
29/10 Reservation fee paid - took my time to submit mortgage as developer hadn’t got funding for Help to buy yet and completion isn’t till Sept 2021.
12/03 New AIP accepted - had to reapply
19/03 Developer got approval for funding
31/03 H2B application went in
08/04 Received authority to proceed from H2B
09/04 Mortgage application submitted and hard credit search done by lender
13/04 Submitted more paperwork to MA
Feel nervous but hoping it moves quickly. Gone with TML due to previous adverse credit. Anyone had any experience with them?
Good luck everyone!

Joining in everyone! Hi 🙋♀️
Second time buyer upgrading from my little H2B flat to a possible forever home
90% LTV with Barclays
Offer Accepted : 06th AprilDIP : 08th April, hard searches showing on Transunion only.
panic as I have excellent credit rating with Experian and Equifax but only Fair with Transunion! Think this is due to them having no record of my current mortgage
Passed DIP so broker seems confident that we should be accepted
Have a reasonable amount of unsecured debt on credit cards to be cleared on completion, and a large H2B equity loan also to be cleared so a broker was a must for me.Partner also moved rentals a lot.
15th April = full app goes in.
Ive also instructed survey as our vendor is very keen for a quick sale, it’s dual agent and I didn’t want him to get cold feet / think we are time wasters. So taking the risk!
Eagerly awaiting any news on the next steps
3.9 x salary if we disregard my quarterly bonus, about 3.68 x salary if we included half the bonus, so I think not too awful!Had to use Barclays as we are buying a converted pub and it’s classed as a new build. Barclays one of the few offering 90% LTV on a new build.
hoping for good news for everyone on here 🙏🏼🏡 the wait is the WORST
good luck to all! Xx0 -

valuation came back fine, MA asked partner if he had diplomatic immunity (!) and told to expect offer in a couple of days - eek

Hi all just wanted to add to the thread as I found it very helpful over the process. Wow! how stressful. I am sure I was not this stressed first time round in my twenties. I have been off the property ladder for years so felt like a FTB
30/03 offer on house accepted.Had a DIP with L and C but apparently this is worth nothing so house stayed on the market. Phoned them but they could not get me an appointment until 2.5 weeks time. Not too good. So rang a local broker.
31/03 Fact finding. Then had to wait over Easter weekend while broker found suitable lender. Awful wait.
06/04 DIP
09/04 Full app
15/04 Valuation
and questions on bank statements. Why had my parents sent me £200?
21/04 Mortgage approved.
I have had 3 weeks of anxiety. As a pp poster said trust the process and your broker as hard as it is. I think my broker must think I am crazy.
Thanks to others on here too that have answered my questions.Next stage now searches.0 -

Also awaiting here, FTB 10% app with Coventry Building Society through broker, totally on edge waiting to hear anything!
01/04 Property viewed
06/04 Offer accepted
07/04 Solicitor instructed
08/04 DIP received
? Full app submitted no idea as MA didn't confirm date
28/04 Request for P60s
Hopefully it wont be too long0 -
Absolutely gobsmacked here - I was expecting to have to join this thread but my TSB 85% LTV just took 6 working days from full application to acceptance letter. Is that some kind of record?
And me on a fixed term contract, too
(I should point out I'm in Scotland, so the pesky valuation part is already done and dusted by the time a house goes on the market here)
