Full application submitted to Accord today.
I've come off the mortgage at my family home and partner is FTB.
I've got debts so a bit nervous but slightly optimistic as my partner goes back to work next month and with her income, she has no outgoings and I'm currently paying all bills, rent and my debt at the moment so with her income, we'd be able to pay the mortgage twice over every month, hopefully Accord see it like thaat too.
    Valuation booked for 25/03.

Does anyone know if this is part of the process or is it a good indication that we'll get the mortgage?

    Hello!
    26/02 offer accepted
02/03 mortgage app sent to Barclays
03/03 more documents requested and sent
12/03 more documents requested and sent
15/03 Barclays email to say they’re arranging valuation on property.

My husband is self employed hence extra documents needed.

Does anybody know how Barclays are doing their valuation. Whether it’s virtual or by going to the property? Thanks!
  • I just wanted to update in case it’s useful to anyone else - we got our offer through today - we are thrilled! It took a week from receipt of our valuation because it turns out NW needed an extra document to verify my partners annual bonuses. Good luck to everyone who is still waiting! I have my fingers crossed for you all.
  • Hi!
09/03 - DIP with TSB. Referred.
    11/03 - DIP approved.
16/03 - Full mortgage application submitted to TSB via Mortgage Broker.
16/03 - Alert from Credit Karma. Hard Credit Search completed by TSB.
Any idea how long TSB are taking to process mortgage applications currently? Will I also be subject to another Hard Credit Search by them?

    TIA.

  • Hey just had offer accepted just getting documents sorted! Bit worried on my bank statements that I have spent 400 pound over 3 months gambling, will this be an issue when trying to get a lender?

Generally gambling will be a concern for lenders. I stopped 6 months prior to going for mortgage.
