Full application submitted to Accord today.
I've come off the mortgage at my family home and partner is FTB.
I've got debts so a bit nervous but slightly optimistic as my partner goes back to work next month and with her income, she has no outgoings and I'm currently paying all bills, rent and my debt at the moment so with her income, we'd be able to pay the mortgage twice over every month, hopefully Accord see it like thaat too.
  • Full 85% LTV application submitted to Halifax through a broker last Monday, after AIP accepted a few weeks ago. Have heard absolutely zero back - no confirmation of valuation or anything. Is this normal?

    Are you a doctor?
Yes, also in a training post so was also worried with the temporary contracts etc.
My mortgage was approved same day including the desktop valuation at 90ltv. I’m almost waiting for them I ring me to say they made a mistake.

Submitted application with Newcastle BS on Feb 3rd (resubmit after having to change address on DIP). Valuation done Friday 12th February. Received an offer on Friday 19th Feb with a retention - renegotiated price with the vendor and received amended offer yesterday 22nd Feb! 20% LTV with some mild adverse - relieved is an understatement!!
  • FTB here and stress isn’t the word! Constantly on google reading other people’s experiences.

DIP Accepted 18th Feb, Offer accepted 19th Feb and application submitted 20th Feb, Valuation carried out 22nd and report received - now just waiting to hear if we have been approved with Nationwide (25% deposit). Just want it all over with now as my anxiety is through the roof!!
  • Full application to HSBC via a broker 22/2/21.
Advised a desktop valuation has been completed and initial application signed off 24/2/21.
Been told it has been passed on for final checks (not sure if that means the underwriters?) so should hear by the end of the week.
All very quick so far. 60% LTV but based on my salary only as my other half is only on a temporary work contract so my worry was whether they’d question affordability when only taking my salary into consideration but large deposit and mortgage payments will be low so we shall see...
  • Had my valuation yesterday. mortgage application submitted on 10th February, documents all checked and satisfactory the following day and hard search done last week.
On the online banking it says valuation received - under review. I'm really hoping I don't have to wait too much longer
