Congratulations to everyone receiving offers!
I’m updating my timeline and off to the waiting to exchange thread.
29/06 viewed house
29/06 offer made and accepted
30/06 conveyancer instructed
2/07 mortgage application made with TSB through broker
14/07 surveyor booked valuation
16/07 valuation took place
05/08 - mortgage offer given
So happy to have received an offer! I think we would have had it sooner but the coronavirus impact form weren’t quite completed right.
Good luck to everyone waiting for offers, it will come through! Here’s to positive thinking 😊🥂🍾

Anyone tried escalating with lender directly? Or will this be frowned upon by MB and lender? Thinking of calling lender in morning. Supposed.to be.moving 17th.1

I’m obsessed with TSB at the moment - were you straightforward in terms of employment? Our buyer is not self employed or COVID affected and valuation on 22/7 no update yet and told it was with broker last week but 4 days on nothing 🤷🏻♀️
Also congratulations 🍾
yes we are unaffected by coronavirus and have been working throughout. I called TSB direct yesterday and they told me they have an 8 Working day turnaround for applications when all documents are submitted. On Monday our broker had to submit a new coronavirus form due to only one of our names being put on. So from last Monday to today is how long it took to be reassessed which is probably around the 8 working days.
Hopefully your buyer will hear back soon enough then, they are taking forever! The annoying thing was that our broker advised us there was only a 14day turn around on applications when we applied.1 -

I emailed my MB yesterday asking them to escalate the case as we’ve been waiting 5 weeks, over 3 weeks since the valuation was done. MB has not responded - think they’re getting fed up of me. It’s so frustrating!0
