Hi everyone,
A family member has a Zoom appointment with HSBC tomorrow morning. The advisor emailed at the weekend requesting a pre-appointment welcome call. My family member responded very quickly with suitable days/times for the welcome call, but with one day to go until the Zoom appointment, the advisor still hasn’t got back to her re the welcome call. She’s chasing it today with the aim of getting the call sorted for this afternoon, but just in case she isn’t successful could anyone tell me what the welcome call would be about, and what documents/information she would need to provide either as a result of the welcome call or during the Zoom appt? In addition, what is she likely to get asked during the Zoom appointment? For context, she is a long standing HSBC customer, and she’s already been asked to provide her latest play slip. Thanks in advance.0 -
Day 20 for us. MB have advised it’s still in the queue to be looked at but all is looking ok. They’re expecting us to hear back tomorrow and said to get the Prosecco on ice - not getting our hopes up too much though. The suspense is killing me!!!1

Aww the wait is awful isn’t it! We only found out about the valuation because the estate agents told us so don’t bank on being directly updated by the lender.lancslass26 said:

I am literally on tenterhooks..
Got a DIP on 17th July after a soft credit search from Leeds on the same day.
Full application submitted 22nd July
Hard credit check done on 24th July
27th July Our Broker contacted us to sign a declaration for the application and request one further bank statement that I must have missed out by accident.Ours is shared ownership/new build and the exchange needs to be done within 28 days so slightly starting to freak out! The Broker says she assumes it’s with the underwriter now but it’s nerve wracking waiting and I can’t do anything but worry it’s going to be rejected. We were more than comfortable affordability wise and both of credit history is good (no missed payments, no defaults, no CCJs in both of our 12 year credit history). Only negative thing on my Equifax is that we are not registered in electoral roll at current address though this is mainly due to Covid as we only moved in January and hadn’t got around to registering before lockdown. We have debt but not a huge amount and the broker assured me it was fine as neither of our debts were over 50% utilisation. I’m going out of my mind a little!0 -
It is awful... I'm going to speak to EA later and see if the valuation has been done, she booked it in directly with valuer but I'm keeping the 6/8 date just in case. If not - then somebody will have a cancellation available!!SierraRomeo30 said:

Got mortgage offer last Tuesday, informed HSBC spelling on name was incorrect. Still waiting on the underwriters issuing a new mortgage offer.
So frustrating for something so simple to correct to take this long. Hope they haven't change their minds.0 -

Not fun at all! We’ve not heard anything, no questions, nothing. Eek, makes me anxious they’re going to have some tomorrow and then we’ll go back to the bottom of the pile. When did you submit your application?I have been following your posts about Accord.
