  • We chased HSBC yesterday and the MA said that our application is in the queue for the underwriter (sent extra docs requested 10 days ago) so I'm not holding my breath we're hearing anything today, another weekend with uncertainty  :s

    Meh.... feeling stressed 😫
MB submitted my mortgage application About 4 weeks ago with accord.
No valuation dates set yet, and no response about my mortgage offer.

im beginning to think that there’s an issue. Why are they taking so long?
despite COVID, I’ve had no change in circumstances, if anything, my circumstances are better.

We have a full offer! We are a straightforward application for 90% HSBC  - no affect from Covid, secure jobs not self employed. We had a detour with bank of Ireland between aip and full application but their criteria didn’t match our needs

    dip - 7/7
    Full application submitted - 14/7
    offer pending valuation- 21/7
    valuation - 23/7
    offer 24/7

We are in the same boat. Application sent on 24th June and no valuation booked yet. Had an update from our MA this morning to suggest that Halifax are happy with the paperwork but can't officailly confirm the offer as they are still waiting for valuation to be instructed.

By the sounds of it, all lenders are having an absolute nightmare with admin and valuers are severely lacking, so there is no wonder why some of us are struggling to get even the minimal things across the line!!

Fingers crossed you hear back soon!

We’re waiting on Accord too. They’ve done our valuation - though they didn’t notify us of it being booked, the estate agents did so could be the same for you?
