Hi,
I am really worried, I have sent in my bills to Mobileoutlet on 21 September (last week) and when checking the royal mail website there seems to be no sign of delivery even if it was really delivered.
I need to know what can i do now? The last day for claiming is the coming Monday 1st October.
I phoned mobileoutlet and asked if i can send copies. One person said in this case u can. But i'm not sure if the person who will deal with my application will accept it because sometimes other staff have diffrent answers and opinions and this worries me alot. They didn't ask my name or mobile number to add a note on the system that i will be sending copies?
Can anyone plz advice? If Mobile outlet is reading this now, can u please assure me?
ThanksThe_Mobile_Outlet wrote: »Hi,
Our guidelines allow copy bills to be submitted as part of a successful cash back claim.

mira,
I do not know which "Guidelines" that the Mobile Outlet representative is alluding to, it would be helpful to know which ones they are, and if they are in the public domain.
Your contract states"Copies are NOT acceptable".
Do not pm The Mobile Outlet from this site with your concern, use the e-mail address given and get what the rep said in writing(e-mail is fine).Well life is harsh, hug me don't reject me.0 -
Some good points by thesaint as usual, particularly about the re-appearance of TMO on the thread in the run up to Christmas, and I'm sure it has nothing to do with the interest the BBC are taking in peoples experiences of cashback claims as posted by jeffh2007 here.....
I, also like thesaint, contacted TMO on their forumqueries email address when chasing my last cashback, and like thesaint received no replies from that address......
Maybe I'm way off the mark, lets hope I am and there is some genuine improvements in the TMO cashback process....but talk is cheap, lets see some positive action TMO!!0 -
guys, guys, let's not degenerate again. Let's see the return of TMO to this(and possibly others?) forum as hopefully a positive sign. .
Surely you can see that them coming on here after all that has gone before asking for PMs should be treated with caution?
And how do you rate this for sincerity from TMO:we are dedicated to ensure we make payments within the relevant timescales0 -

Yesterday I emailed them and got a reply within twelve minutes.:rotfl:

saint, quentin, et al - I appreciate what you're saying, but at least some positive action on the part of TMO is better than none at all. Personally when I e-mail them I always use the 3 adresses to ensure that I hit one of the accounts that is being monitored at the time.
Speaking as one, like Brenda, K and others who HAVE claimed their cb without too many problems I don't think my methods and attitude can be too wide of the mark. Of course it would have been less hassle and time consuming if the process was followed as rigorously by TMO as by myself and others, but such is life.
As for the legitimacy of some of the questions/queries on here, I believe you yourself have had to bring one or two posters back down to earth on occasion, so I don't feel that sentance was untruthful in any way.
Anyhow, bill 12 has turned up in the post today, so that'll be claims 4 and 5 both in their posession by middle of next week.......Gettin' There, Wherever There is......

I have been reading this thread with interest for many months.
I have two contracts with MO and have received two successful cash backs. My 3rd cash back claim was sent special delivery on 19th September to the usual address:- 3-4 Riverdale House, my problem is when I check the Royal Mail web site to check delivery it tells me that it was redirected which delays delivery and to use the correct address next time, it also could not provide proof of a signature.
Does anyone know if there is a different address to send the cash back claim too? I have had the first phone since Dec 2006.

If you've been reading the thread for many months, you'd have read many times that they are re-directing their mail, and it makes no difference to your claim.
Use that address until the Mobile Outlet tells you otherwise.Well life is harsh, hug me don't reject me.0 -

It seems like the forum team have being savaging this thread again.
I do appreciate them cutting out certain(no names) posts, but I wish they'd leave the unoffensive ones untouched. :A
I did answer this yesterday, if anyone sees anything 'Out of order' please let me know, and I will edit it if I see the offence, if not, the forum team caan delete it again.:)
I have indeed "Spoken my mind" to 1 or 2 posters who come to this thread claiming that they've read it when they haven't.
The difference between me and The Mobile Outlet is, as a business, you should strive to answer every question put to you, that's the price of being in business. For them, there is no such thing as an illegitimate query.Well life is harsh, hug me don't reject me.0 -
New to forum folks. I am mad with TMO because I have a contract with TMO taken out last Nov 2006 & everything was going well including 'cashbacks' until yesterday when I receive a letter from them saying that they 'received bills 8 to 9 outwith the 21 days' ...etc and that the rest of cb (totalling a whopping £252) will now be 'invalid'. The thing is that I have been meticulas with regards to following their t&a and DID send bills 8 & 9 first class with 5 days to spare!! PLEASE CAN SOMEONE ADVISE ME WHAT TO DO!! I am broke and need this cb for Christmas presents! I've read a lot of this forum but no real clear solutions I think. Would very much appreciate a reply from some of you more knowledgable, experienced guys in 'the know'! Thanks.0
