Yeah can't wait to the OR interview done with, how bad is that interview? I know it is quite long.

you should receive a call for the OR today to confirm time of interview

The actual interview depends on the complexity of the case, i guess the most complex could last 2 hours, back in the real world between 15-45 minutes.

Mine lasted 15 minutes and she did not go through the SOA at all, did not even ask how i got into the debt, basically was a doddle, there not normally that quick, but i believe they are straightforward.

i think they are short staffed and are concentrating on BK were there are assets and IPAs to make money from

Ah right, I havent heard anything yet, made sure I have had my phone on all the time.

I hope mine is as easy as yours then or at least easy anyway, will make sure I have my statement with me though just in case they ask about something on there.

they wont ask anything today (or whenever they finally ring) its just to confirm time of appointment, she asked me who are you largest creditors and which bank i wanted to keep open, so she can send a fax/letter to them. all very friendly

My OR interview was fine, it only lasted 15 mins! I hope you have the same luck.

Well the OR rang me at 10 this morning my interview is on the 7th August at 10am.

She sounded lovely, she has told me to send my bankruptcy form to all my creditors did anyone else do that? At the moment my creditors are not chasing me by phoning me I had my first letter today saying about late payment.

I think she must mean a photocopy of the bankruptcy order?

you can send copies if you like it cant do any harm (DON'T SEND THE ORIGINAL), or you can call them and speak to the insolvency dept of each creditor and let them know

your name should be (or soon will be) on the insolvency service register, have you checked? once its on there, creditors can look and confim that you are indeed BK, so some dont need you to send the BK copy

the OR will let your creditors know but it takes them a few weeks, as they are busy and slow!
