If people want to check the quality of a wine before buying, they can use the Superplonk site, as recommended by Mr Accountant.
This is what Malcolm Gluck thinks of the Ausie Red.
"Tesco Australian Red NV, Screwcap. Perfect with vindaloo."
Rated 14, normal price 2.70
Of course if you want to spend more and get a cork you could try this from Tesco's.
"Wolf Blass Platinum Label Shiraz 1998, yours for 29.99, but rated only 10.
You pays your money and takes your choice. But using Superplonk helps sort the expensive rubbish from the good quality bargains.0 -
I'm not averse to buying screw cap bottles of wine, in fact I much prefer them so I don't have to battle with a corkscrew
Rather funny really, but I've looked through that site before and almost every red wine I drink is recommended for curries or spicy foods LOL!"An Ye Harm None, Do What Ye Will"

I can't seem to find this wine on the web site, it's probably just me, but could someone post the link direct to the wine?
I sure would appreciate it!!Sexkitten
Good things come to those who wait......... but the best will be taken by those who got there first

Be careful when they deliver your order and check the invoice. I ordered enough to take me over the £50 threshold so that the £15 voucher would apply. They then tried to deliver half of what I'd ordered - with no discount because it was below the £50 value. When I called Tesco up they said that you have to rely on the stock in your local store on the day of delivery to determine what you may or may not get. So forget about the quantity and price you're quoted when you get your confirmation email thanking you for your order - it means nothing. And they debited my account on the day of delivery - even though I didn't accept the order!0
