yes this is a good deal, i brought 13 jacobs creek shiraz 2002 for 37.02 or 2.85 delivered. as i write i am enjoying it superbly. as someone has posted the effecitve price is literally 50% of normal supermarket prices, if you include the £15 off a spend £50 spend voucher.
this does beat the asda offer on aussie wine at the moment. Earlier today some relatives came over and tasted this wine commenting on how expensive this must have been, yes i said it was expensive buytas they were special guests it was well worth it!
i have also ordered 5 lindermans bin 50, 5 oxford shiraz/cabernet, 3 finest aussie reserve shiraz (i like shiraz as you may have noticed!) for around £2.80 a bottle. bargain!
may i recomened https://www.superplonk.com which gives info on all wines from tesco from the search menu, useful if you are unsure, although my rule is buy what you like, price is not neceserily an indicator of quality.0 -
Hi
How do you get the 5% off when you order on line? we have ordered 24 bottles but it is coming up at the normal price and not deducting the five per cent
any help is appreciated,
thanks0 -

Don't worry! The 5% is taken off and will appear on your invoice when you get the goods. Basically the Tesco website is a bit crap to say the least. You'd think with their millions they could manage to take the 5% off online but they can't. The price given on the website is just a guide price.
PS. Don't forget to use the £15 off voucher from the Vouchers section!0 -

I think the prices quoted on the Tesco Winestore already include the 35% discount. If you shop for wine in the grocery section then the prices are based on a 30% discount & you get the additional 5% at the checkout.
Someone correct me if i'm wrongHmmmmmmm0 -

If you order from the Winestore sectio it includes 35% off. If you order wine from the Groceries section then the 5% off is not shown online. You only see it as a discount on your invoice when you get the bill.0 -
Flowmeter said you get the 5% at the checkout, Searcher2 is saying you DON'T get it at the checkout, but when you receive your invoice the 5% has actually been deducted (I think)Thanks to all who post constructively.

Indeedy...that's what I was saying! You don't see the 5% discount online at all - only on delivery of the goods when you get the bill.
As an aside the 5% extra off 6 or mote bottles is off the discounted price and not the full price - so it does not equate to the 35% you get off the prices in the Wine section. However, the vouchers for the wine section are not as good and plentiful at the moment so you are better off in the Groceries section for buying wine.0 -

Yep, the vouchers are certainly better in the grocery section, alas not all the wines are listed on there.
Whatever though -there some good deals to be had however you decide to shopHmmmmmmm0
