Sorry knit witch:o it was more to give myself a reality check than to scare anyone else:D

I'm the first to moan when I see the selection boxes out before the fireworks

My key words for getting this debt down are plan and budget - oh and stick to meal planner..... Oh and burn takeaway menus......... Oh and all my other bad habits

The problem is the takeaways have the menues inside just in case you don't have one (and round here they seem to shove another through the door every flipping month!)

Woo hoo I am an eBay machine :rotfl:

11 items listed since last night - aiming to get another 4 on today to get me to nice round number of 15 :j

Just need to hope they all go for a reasonable amount :p

....*heads off to photograph and list anything else not glued down in the house*

Are you trying to get it all listed before they change the fee system?

Not really Knit Witch I just managed to get some momentum going today - I'd really like a slush fund for Xmas and if poss treat me and oh to a wee night away at my birthday in oct but don't want to have to reduce my debt payments to do so.....

I've been dithering over the stuff for months......
"Do I put a reserve price on" v expensive designer handbag
" do I bundle together or sell separate" kids clothes

In the end I realised if its still sitting in the corner of the spare room then its not on eBay it and ain't going anywhere - so have flung a load on and will hope for the bestl:o

If you want my advice, I'd think of a fair buy it now that you would be happy with. I buy a lot on eBay and I always go for the expensive stuff that just isn't getting the prices they used to on eBay (recession etc.) and three times sellers have refused me a buy it now that I offered that was a lot more than they would get at auction - all 3 sellers didn't sell their item and later came back to me to offer me that buy it now. I reduced my offer and got the items even cheaper. True designer goods on eBay have lost their bidding value as so many are skint etc. I'd advise you to offer her a buy it now if you want to sell it. But be realistic! I recently got a brand new condition, genuine Barbour Peplum worth 195.00 for 30 pounds (a week ago :)) its perfect, genuine, worth so much more but I was only buyer. I am getting great bargains through this recession, sellers not so much. Lady who sold Peplum jacket openly said she needed cash for bills on auction etc .... lots of sellers are selling to clear debt, pay bills ect but buyers (a lot of them) just dont have the money to pay.

What type of designer bag is it? I can help you with a good price (dont want to buy it myself as I only buy Lulu Guinness, Barbour, Ugg bags etc) but if you price it right you will sell it. If you need advice, ask x

hi girls well similar story here ,ive went back to the need not want thread but also the 1% challenge ,i have doubled a payment on one card and just about to do the same to another and unlike loans if the apr is high it just seems to plummet the total stupidly ,i have increased my hours and do feel i run about daft a bit but then think its only till its cleared and then the money will be mine . my car finishes in 18 mths a loan finishes in 2.5 years and if i just keep plugging at cc's then i might get some joy .good luck with the diary
ps ive started using gumtree no fees
So finally debt free and it feels amazing however continuing here to stay debt free.Next declutter house and body and finally swim under that waterfall x
