Parking Eye fine

Options
Hi Informed members

I have received a fine of £60.00 to park for more than 2 and a half hours. I have just bought a house and I was in the retail park for quite some time about 5 hours but there was wickes, benson for beds, dreams, harvey and stores like that. I shortlisted a few things and bought some things as well but since that is a huge retail park it took us longer. Can I challenge the ticket as I do have the receipt of purchase done that day.

Please advise

Yes, Parking Eye usually back down when shown receipts. Do not send originals they have a habit of getting lost.

Also complain to the stores you shopped in as they can often get tickets overturned too.

Yes but write it as a challenge from the registered keeper who has received the letter, NOT naming or implying who was driving. Write it in the third person:

'Here is a copy of the driver's receipt and I trust you will cancel this now as your charge is unjustified and punitive and my next step will be to complain to your client. The driver has just bought a house and was in the retail park for quite some time browsing furniture and seeing salespeople in Wickes, Bensons and Harveys with a view to further purchases I am sure they would be loathe to lose.

If you will not cancel your fake PCN I will of course require a POPLA code and reserve the right to raise additional points of appeal at that stage, as well as complaining to your client, the Retail Park.'
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

    Thanks
I have an online address to appeal as well, should I do it there? also the receipts show my name number and everything, should I get rid of that from the rec.
No matter how quick I could have done this but my partner is pregnant and it takes a while for her to get around, moreover it was really hot that day and we had to keep going back to the car so she could stay a little cooler in the AC.
I dont know but hoping just on humanitarian grounds they can cancel this ticket as its so weird, I did not see any signage anywhere and might go to that place again to see where exactly the signboard is exactly.

I called them up and they said they dont even know who issues the tickets coz I asked them for there number (Parking Eye) if I can just talk to them and sort it. I think they were worse.

I am sure the signage is really in an odd place coz not for once i saw it anywhere unless it is in corner somewhere, planing to go tonight to see where the hell is this signage really.

Driver's receipt here means the receipt of goods purchased?
Sorry, been in this situation first time so not really sure and forgive my amateurish questions. If it does mean goods receipt then that has all my details like my name even my phone number on it so should I hide that.
