Have to say I am utterly impressed by those of you who have completed your ironing (I iron as a procrastination technique, myself :rotfl:) especially as it is so hot - the ONLY way I can get it done in this weather is with the fan directed at the Valli legs!

Anyway DW and WM primed and ready; kitchen got a wipeover and a mopping today and pile clearing has gone on. I have stuff that I will take to work and [STRIKE]shove in a cupboard[/STRIKE] pass onto someone use it (or shove it in a cupboard). But its out of here! Woot!

    Morning all

A bit groggy this morning so I'm having a cuppa with the door open to try to revive myself. Plan is to do an hour in the front garden once the boys are away to school before it gets too hot.

DS1 may be comng home a bit earlier than I thought so I really need to start getting my act together so that we have at least started decorating his room befoore he arrives.

    Morning all :D

Thanks for the new thread Dusty!

Didn't get back to the thread last week as I was concentrating on getting DD ready to go away. They finally left at 10.30 last night and thankfully ex gave us a lift to the coach and back. I managed to get some advice on how to fix my laptop on the way home, but I'll leave that until I've got my accounts & TC sorted :o I can cope with the thin pink line until then.

I've been up since 6am when the school tweeted an update which is rather good timing as I had my alarm set so I could get up and on with jobs ;) So far I've stripped my bed, washed my pillows (they're out on the line but doubt they'll be drying anytime soon as its chilly & misty out there atm) and DD's bedding is now in. All the bins are emptied, bar codes sent off (yet again a day late :o) and computer stuff is as up to date as it can be. I've even caught up with nearly all my programmes while having breakfast :D

Todays plan is to get all the cleaning done now before it gets too hot and so I can take the rest of the week off ;) Since there's only me here until Friday any cleaning should be a case of tidy, wash up & cooking stuff DD doesn't like :D So I'm going to grab last weeks list and get on. I'm not sure if my neighbour is home or not so I'll leave the vacuuming until after 9am, I have plenty of other things to fill my time until then :o

Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.
Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!
