Hope you're feeling better soon. Can't believe the vet's bill - licence to print money is all I can say! Vets and dentists - all the same!
It so is a licence to print money.
Drives me nuts. And keeps stuffing me moneywise.
So........bills and rent are paid for this month. Need to pay my Credit card off with this weeks money plus put aside some for the rent and bills.
Then the following week's money goes half on monthly bills and half - well less than half goes to spending money. (new plan - it seems I can't ignore money!!)
ho hum.
I feel better now. Although next week I will only have 4 days pay and yeah. October is going to be tight!
and I cannot spend ANY money.
Having pets is expensive. Had to buy a test kit for the fish tanks and the ponds.
Ebay was cheaper than the pet shop tho.
mind you have spent the evening perusing the ikea website!
am a NIGHT mare!
any how must go to bed with my peppermint tea.
night all XXXX
ps - spent 15 in sainsbugs, not as good as it sounds! as a lot was prepared food but we shall see if I can manage under 20

Buffy I get paid weekly and can I ask why you don't put money away each week for your bills then you have spends/saves/debt payments each week. I simply add up all my bills and rent and divide it by however many payday's are within that month. Each week I then have a pot for bills, a pot for rent, a pot for petrol and then whatever is remaining can be spends/debts/saves.
Direct debts and rent go out of the same account which my 'pots' are held so no need to worry about those. I know it may take you a month to set this up but it may work better than effectively working for nothing for two weeks.
Something to think about...0 -

The thing with me is I like to know my rent and bills are paid, For sure as soon as possible. Then I don't worry.
However this week it is about paying back the vet bill on my CC and then limiting the damage done to the car savings from the fixing of the car.
The ideal for me is to ignore my main wages and live off my second job. But given that I am back to the vets on Saturday.......Nevertheless she persisted.0 -
Hi Buffy
If your income is erratic then you need to make sure you have the money for bills first. Then you can relax a bit. The only alternative would be to get a month ahead of yourself bills wise.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
