The Secret Dreamworld of a (Scottish) Shopaholic

Hi Scottish. Stick in you're doing really well. I find this time of year really challenging as there is so much temptation (esp with kids). I'm going shopping more looking for Xmas presents but end up spotting things I want to buy for me/kids. Autumn/winter clothes are my favourite so i get tempted there. Cold wet weekends/school holidays involve spending. Even Halloween pulls at the purse strings!!!
I bought ankle boots from sainsb last year, they have been fab!
Forget about the house for now. If it helps my son/daughter shared a room until they were 9/7 and still choose to sleep in the same room at weekends quite abit now (so they can party instead of sleeping!).
Just keep swimming.Crazy clothes challenge 140/180

Hi SS,
Just thought I would pop in and say hello, I've been really bad at coming on and updating my diary and catching up with others!
How is the debt busting and planning going? Are you managing to factor christmas shopping into your plan?
Hope to hear from you soon, and hope you're keeping your chin up!

Hello everyone,
I am so sorry I've been MIA for so long. Things have moved on massively from my last post in October 2013, as you may expect - which I will come back to and take the time to explain properly to you all in the next few days.
I'm back on the wagon and now hoping I can still count on all your amazing support? I've not kept up with diaries or anyone's stories (hoping to catch up soon) and I'm very sorry about that as I have missed you all. I have been burying my head in the sand - some things have got worse and some things have got a lot better. I've been really sensible sometimes and really very stupid at others.
There must be something about this time of year though (I note I started this diary a year ago this past Sunday) - school holidays = time to breathe and reflect!
:wave: to you all - hope I can still count on your support and encouragement...?MBNA = £4,000 / Next = £925 (approx. tbc on 19/8)
Tesco = £2,910.11 / Smile overdraft = £500
Bank of Scotland = £2,782.830
