Asda polo shirts (red, white) and trousers (grey, black) wore great (some usable again if he doesn't take a massive growth spurt!), v-neck jumpers faded a lot so will need new. He wore his uniform about 2/3 to 3/4 of the time as it's not compulsory. Clarks shoes, lasted from Oct until end of term (end June), a bit of sole coming off now! Might see if we can get some Marks Jumpers this year or maybe school sweaters.

Sainsburys for shirts and skirts, asda for trousers and definitely M&S for polos, the only ones that last with wash. My son has worn this years the ones my DD worn two years ago and they still look perfect in shape and no stains. It helps they are unisex!

How does that work with the buttons?

Clarks shoes have lasted the whole year, so worth the money.
M&S Trousers have lasted well, as have their white shirts.
Asda polo shirts (white) faded and stained really fast.
Asda blue jumpers have lasted with repairs, but only just.
School jumpers lasted well but the first wash last Sept drained the blue colour, but they didnt lose anymore!

Will stick to M&S this year I think. Need to wait for the offers and codes though!

My older son goes to an academy school and there is only 1 place that I can get his uniform.
My younger son is still at Primary school, so I get pretty much everything from Tesco.
Asda are rubbish for uniform, as its bad quality and shrinks a LOT in the wash.

Shoes are normally sports ones (from Sports Direct or similar).

????? buttons are buttons... the only difference I have ever found with girls/boys polo shirts is the girls ones sometimes have a scalloped edging on the collar.

I'd am more amused by the unisex skirts lol

Daughters trousers I get got from M&S and they have lasted well, aslong as she doesn't have a growth spurt over the hols I'll probably be able to get another term out of them.

She has to wear open neck shirts, which is a nightmare as only Tesco and BHS do them and the quality isn't great, so think they have been replaced 3 times since September.
Everything else has to be bought from the approved supplier and thankfully the quality is pretty good.

    Couldn't agree more about M & S polo's! :)

No twisting, mis-shaping in the wash & tumbledry & still look white after the year's use :)

Asda for polo shirts, skirts and trousers. Good quality; wash well and don't shrink. DD has school cardigan which is shocking quality; gone all bobbly which grates on my nerves. Shoes either Clarks or Next but must say Next seem to hold up better than Clarks for my DD as she's very heavy footed.

I buy school trousers from M&S and have found them to be of really good quality. They have been tested to the max as well, as my sons are typical boys and like to rough and tumble. I have found that they wash and last well. Their polo shirts come from Asda and I have been pleased with them. The rest of their uniform I obtain from the school, as they have to wear the sweatshirts and sports kit with the logo on it!
