I love the projector idea - is it still easy to see though with all the light? A friend used to do that for World Cup matches & have a BBQ sounded great.

Sit outside and have dinner if it's warm enough , water the plants too. It's a bit cooler tonight so we're going to a ceroc dance class . Will work off the chocolate which has been finding it's way into my mouth more than usual

Just read this out to hubby and he commented "Bit awkward when you're watching !!!!!! though." Lol, his mind's in the gutter!

That made me laugh, might be an option but not sure my elderly neighbours hearts could cope with some hot screen action.

We haven't found any issues with light so far, luckily at the back garden we have a few big trees which screens a lot of light from those houses, It just took a bit of experimenting with the angles and distance.
  • Our schools break up at end of June so girls already on holiday and making the most of the weather.

We having been going for a walk each evening although waiting until about 9 when it is slightly cooler.

Before that the girls have been playing and hubby and I have been sitting out the back.

We have been really bad about meals as the heat seems to have put us all of our food so we are eating when we are hungry which in truth means no proper meal has been made since Sunday dinner. We seem to be living on beans on toast, bacon butties etc with the odd salad thrown in. Did feel a bit guilty but reckoned a few weeks of not eating properly won't kill us.

Making the most of the weather and, while I have kept the bathroom & kitchen clean and laundry done, the rest of the house has only had a lick and a promise since the good weather began.

    Long may it last!

I have been working pretty much non stop :(. I had yesterday evening off and went to watch DD's school play :). We do go for a walk if I'm not working and DH often takes the kids down the sea front if it's nice and there are no clubs on.
