We eat outside when the weathers lovely. We have a fire pit so when it gets a little chilly we can still sit and enjoy the views and watch the sun go down, with a glass of wine :D

We get on our bikes and have a ride and then go to the pub or for a walk. Going to the beach is lovely too.

Digging out tree stumps as it's too hot to do it in the day!

We have been watching films in the garden, using a projector I can get a 15ft screen which is awesome for Films, sports and PS3, we wear earphones so we dont bother the neighbours.

Tonight our choir has a concert as part of the town's festival of culture so the last few evenings have been full of rehearsals. Should be good :)

That sounds lovely tea lover, hope the performance goes well :)
The best day of your life is the one on which you decide your life is your own, no apologies or excuses. No one to lean on, rely on or blame. The gift is yours - it is an amazing journey - and you alone are responsible for the quality of it. This is the day your life really begins.

We've had barbecues just the two of us for as many evenings as we can manage it during the last couple of weeks. Got to make the most of it! We make a big potato or pasta salad that lasts for most of the week, then bbq a couple of chicken breasts or some sausages each night when we get home from work and then sit in the garden to eat it with a bottle of wine. Laugh at the cats chasing bugs. Move the sprinkler around the lawn and water the veg. Go for a run really late because it's too hot before. Open all the windows to try and get the house to cool down without getting too many insects in.

I know we moan about the UK a lot, but a good old British summer hot spell like this is IMHO unmatched anywhere in the world. Especially during this part of the summer when the evenings are still so long; and it' not got TOO hot yet. I mean, I know some people are probably finding it too hot, but it's not too muggy or hazy yet (in London anyway) and hasn't really hit 30C yet. It's bliss for me, and why I could never live permanently anywhere else.

I seem to be spending most evenings weeding & watering my allotment.

And picking / eating strawberries, peas, lettuce, radish, beans, courgettes etc.

Just read this out to hubby and he commented "Bit awkward when you're watching !!!!!! though." Lol, his mind's in the gutter!

We like to sit up in the field with the chickens and ducks and watch their antics.

Lie on the sofa and post on the internet just like I do in the winter.

    Only with less clothes on.
