    Hi All
Back to 7:30 to 5:30 hours for me, I feel tired just thinking about it. I seems my wages are still wrong, the finance manager rang me to tell me not to spend my wages as they might have to be taken back out my account!!!! She said I'd been paid 30 hours too much but when I checked I think they have paid me 16p an hour too much for 30 hours, no doubt I'll find out later today. Amazing isn't it, this is the payroll department for a local council, all they do is payroll & this palava has been going on since January!
Hugs to Scuzz, Frugal & PP & to anyone else in need.

Overcast here this morning, but still feels warm. Spent a couple of hours at the lottie yesterday, and managed to burn my arms  My poor BIL ripped out his potatoes as he was told he had potato blight, but then it turned out to be frost damage - hence one very  BIL

Out with the dog in a few minutes, and then cereal for breakfast before work.

Good luck at work scuzz, :grouphug: to you and anyone else who needs one x

Morning All! Good luck Frugal - it's always the not-knowing that worst isn't it?

Haven't been on here for a couple of days since Finn the kitten got an upset tummy from starting on solid food. He started diorrhea (spelling?) on Friday night and I spent most of the night up with him, cleaning his bum, and his feet every hour because he kept stepping in the mess he made. He really scared me at one point by falling off a chair and being extremely quiet apart from blowing his nose as if he'd got fluid in it, but it turned out he was sleepy and was fine when he next woke up properly. Went to vets first thing Sat and he's had antibiotics and electrolites and is back on syringe feeding formula. Glad to say we finally had a "real" poo this morning :T Sad isn't it when the highlight of the morning is a "good poo"! :rotfl: All through this he's still been interested in food, and has been bounding around playing regularly and he's really starting to get into everything he shouldn't! He's also bonded with OH which is really good. Now someone else can be seen as the food-provider!

Then Sunday morning at 4:00 big cat yowls outside woke us AND our neighbour up. Local spotted bengal was trying to invade the courtyard and had a go at Echo, my tabby girl. Loads of her fur all over the pathway! He's SO much bigger than her too.

So if those times of disturbed sleep weren't bad enough what happens last night - OH couldn't sleep. He tossed and turned in the middle of the bed  , whacking me in the back with his arms.  Gave up trying to sleep and got up when he went to work at 5:00am.

Read all the stuff I want to on the internet, washing machine on, about to wash last nights dishes and go in the bath (since kitten on brief sleepy time rather than in-to-everything he shouldn't be). Loads of outdoor stuff to do today in the garden and at the allotment so looks like kitten will be coming with me in his cage. Forgetting housework unless it rains!

Hope all have a good day. Good luck to penny-pincher too for this morning.

    Morning all :D

Well I can't put if off much longer. I'm going to hand in my notice today. It's really weird I'm happy about the new job but last night I cried when I wrote out my resignation. I never expected to feel this way about a job :(

Apart from that I didn't do much over the weekend so I need to get a move on this week as the ironing is winning again!

I'll probally be back later after I've got this morning over and done with. Hope everyone else is keeping OK and take or leave the :grouphug: as needed.

    Hi everyone.

We now have our daughter and grandaughters from America here. We picked them up from Gatwick yesterday. It's great :-) (Just been reading the grocery challenge thread, and I'm doing this as well. Been thinking it's going to be interesting to see if I stay in budget this month)

Home school starts back today. I'm also going to be looking after the grandaughters, because my daughter has to go to work (she works for a british firm, but over in the States. They fly her over every year to attend meetings, and do some work over here in England) So I think the schooling will only be the essentials for the next 4 weeks, as once the grandchildren arrive (they are staying with my eldest daughter, who lives just down the road) I think my lot will be distracted too much to work, so it's probably maths, childcare and nature walks on the schedule lol.

It's a bit overcast here at the moment. Looks like it wants to rain, but isn't too sure about it lol.

Anyway. Everyone have a blessed and prosperous day.

    Hugs to all.

    Morning All

Hope it goes well today Frugal

Its also overcast here at the moment but forcast is good, think OH will be working in the garden all day - gets him out of under my feet.

For me - washing, small amount of ironing later, swish bathrooms and clean kids playroom and shower room. Also need to hoover landing and stairs. Need then to spend about an hour in my office. Going to go for it this morning so if the sun does come out can read in the garden later.

This evening we are having ham salad and need to make some more muffins for DS breakfast.

Both kids back at school today and I am really looking forward to the piece and quiet. Also to the fact then when I clean something, it will stay clean for at least a couple of hours.

Going to have a quick mooch now whilst I finish my coffee - have a great day.

    Morning Guys!

The nurse has been and gone and had to have 2 injections. She is coming back with morphine later (just incase) and to check on me to make sure I have had no adverse reactions to them. I am in loads of pain already as they had to go deep muscle...which is always unpleasant:o ...Ive been told to rest up totally today...so I will:D

Anyway, managed to get the WM on before she came and DW has been emptied and toilet cleaned. All downstairs is done, just our bed and a quick swish of bathroom. Waiting for OH to come back so that I can have a shower and he can give upstairs a quick flick whilst im in there;)

Had a nice surprise of a £20 voucher from Sainsburys this morning because of a complaint I made regarding a staff member being rude to me in my wheelchair:confused: ....i think some people just dont like them. Also received my free Nivea sample.

On the way home from dropping DD at school, OH has 3 letters to post which are all recorded delivery. One for The OU, other for car insurance with proof of no claims for OH and the other...I cant remember..how bad is that:o Have been sent a form from our council about a Freedom Pass as Im entitled. Apparently it gives me free travel on all public transport in London including Buses, trains, DLR and tubes. There is no fee but I have to send in two pictures passport size. Im not sure if I will bother applying as I dont go out much and its difficult enough getting in the car with wheelchair or crutches...can you imagine a public bus or tube:eek:

DD seemed happy enough this morning but nervous because of the exams..she will be fine. Shes a bright kid and just needs to focus and not panic!..easier said than done I know.

Grannybroom-Thanks for the lovely PM...it really cheered me up. You can be my granny any day!

Anyway, Im knackered typing all this out, so hope evryone is ok. Hugs to all.
