Morning all - wet in Sheffield this morning...

Evening all, very quiet on here today. Hope everyone is well.

Really frustrated tonight as put various items on Freecycle and 4 lots of people supposed to be coming round to collect. Two should have come last night, but came up with some excuse and asked would we keep until tonight. Guess what - no one turned up! Some people are so rude, just an email to say changed mind would have been appreciated.

Morning all, feel like I am talking to myself on here at the moment.

Up early and ready to go out and cut the grass as soon as it is a reasonable time. Want to try and get it done before the rain starts as we have rain forecast for the whole day :( from about 10am. Dry so far, just hope it holds off long enough to let the neighbours get up and me to get out there and get it done.

What is it with some people on freecycle, as if their not getting enough by getting it for free!

Argh, that annoys me too. I must admit that I did say ok to some bricks on there, then when I tired transporting them I realsisd it was going to take forever but at least I emailled to say this.

Just been out to check spuds planted last week...think they might be a no go, soil is looking somewhat furry on top

Glad I am not alone :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

All I ask is for some manners, an email to say no without even giving a reason would have sufficed and I could have offered to someone else. Will offer again, but when I know I can be in for collection. Deliberately did it this week and specified when it would need to be collected as I knew I would be around.
I often wonder if they want it for free and to be delivered - I have been asked that before now :eek::eek:

Just had a phone call fom dd's school and they have her last result A*:j. So Sheffield will have the info on Monday and I can relax. Just got to get the tip she calls a bedroom sorted, so she can decide what to take. I may then be able to clean in there:rotfl:
