    Good Morning Guys:)

DH had us out watching for shooting stars last night yep we saw a couple :rotfl:

Back from long weekend in Scotland yesterday took 7 hours from hotel to home. Bit of a pain traveling in & out from Glasgow to Edinburgh especially as at night massive overcrowding trying to get home , but the difference for example in cost for 4 nights £200 or £700 at Premier Inn. So no brainer for us. We definately want to go back next year but will plan for fringe stuff better as had no idea till we got there & so much you can go & see and for a change a weekend that DS3 was excitied about rather than the feeling of just being dragged along :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:.

Great meeting up with FT short but sweet as we had to rush of for show:( but was a mine of local info even for Glasgow :T:beer: and looking forward to future meet ups when in Edinburgh:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Sounds like you had a great time. Hope you soon recover from the travelling

Yes he was :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: we were 3rd + in que but the couple in front said you are best going to atleast 3rd or 4th row back as too near due to height of stage so went 3rd row bang in the middle he loved it also the buzz running to get the seat as it was a free for all so let him do the running as we had head start being at front. He loved it laughing hysterically loud at times :rotfl:

MSE got fixed yesterday as I said it would......

FT you have got something to say :) tell us about OU.....;)

adidas I keep logging in to reply to you but never get around to it!!

what kind of deals are you looking for in particular? might be able to suggest better sites.

but as Adoreholidays mentioned, with Wowcher you earn wowcher points just for opening emails they send you, if you open an offer and look at it you get more points, promoting via facebook, twitter, pinterest, emailing your friends earns you more points. The points turn into cash when you hit bronze level and the higher up you go to Platinum you earn more cash. The cash can only be used on wowcher offers but worth it for free ;)

also amazon daily deals is worth signing upto.

    Hello all

I'm just starting to venture into the world of online deal sites. I signed up to Groupon but got a little inundated (spelling?) with emails and you couldn't seem to select down the mailing list. KGB fared a bit better but been on a week now and haven't spotted many deals I fancy.

Livingsocial seem pretty good as does vouchercloud for local deals. I've just discovered Travelzoo today which looks promising.

Are there any others out there and how would people rate them?

I've used Groupon 3 times and personally am very wary about using it again.

First deal - meal out - was actually a good deal and a lovely meal, though did end up spending more than I'd planned as OH insisted we spent more on drinks etc to make up for the cheap meal

Second - Oven clean - never ever again - clean was ok but not great, nothing I could and haven't done since with a couple of cans of oven cleaner. Plus left bits of wire wool all about my kitchen floor. Emailed the company to complain, nothing. In hindsight I should have complained to Groupon.

Third - MOT - was ok, but further out than my usual garage so a complete nightmare when it failled. Ended up taking it to my local garage, the jobs did need doing but deff a case of stick with who you know.
I'm also guessing OH found that pub in glasgow then ;)

Ohhh, which one was that? OH from Glasge so been up there a lot (and in a lot of pubs :rotfl:) over the years.

Hump day tomorrow, then downhill to the weekend :j

AH - sounds like you had a great weekend and also able to meet FT.

I was exhausted last night, but as you say happy exhausted. Just need a good night sleep tonight and hopefully will have caught up on lost sleep. It was great to have them home, but they just want to be on the go all of the time, plus we had a party for mum's birthday on the Saturday as well as spending the day on Sunday at Chester Zoo - had forgotten how big it is and how much walking around to be done!
