Good morning red, kerri and Jeferey

The OT and physio came but didn;t bring anything with them. The OT said she will look in stores and see what she has and then phone me, and the physio said she won;t bother coming again as I go to see the consultant in 3 weeks. So tbh was a wasted visit as they were only here a few minutes. Oh well, shall carry on as I am for now.

Hope your mri scan goes ok Jeferey and you get the results quickly so you can get the problem, whatever it is, treated and get back to normal.

It is sunny today but still cold, and my heating is on. lol. Will turn it off after everyone has had their showers.

Been raining overnight so the ground is well soaked, too wet to mow the lawn unfortunately as it does need doing.

    Enjoy your swim Jeferey

Good afternoon red, kerri and Jeferey

Woke up to a hard frost this morning, everything was shiny and white but was soon followed by sunshine and blue sky. Got 3 loads of washing dried and put away as it got windy as well so good drying weather. If it stays like this it just might dry the garden enough for my ds to get the mower out and mow the lawns.

Hope your all having a good weekend.

Well looks like the sun is with us again. It was lovely yesteday, sunny and quite warm, it dried all my washing too.

My ds and dh managed to mow the lawn, though they didn;t finish the weeding for me so need to pester them again to finish it.

Got the OT coming later, she is supposed to bring me a shower seat. Only 2 weeks till I see the consultant. Wonder what he will recommend for my leg/knee that doesn;t involve surgery.

Anyway take care guys, hope your all well.

Morning all. Looks like it is going to be another sunny day here today.

Sorry to hear you are no further forward CW but the shower seat should make life a little easier for you.

Good news you have had the MRI Jeferey - they should now be able to decide better what is wrong. Hope you are not another one joining the surgery route.

Is life improving for you Kerri?

After my initial good start after the TKR, things went backward for a couple of weeks - felt as though something had gone wrong in the knee but probably me trying to do too much. My last physio visit was good and she said I had improved the bend even though I had cut back on the exercises because of the bad swelling. I'm due to see the Consultant next week so hope he will be happy with the outcome. I just have to be good and keep doing the exercises.

I did manage to do a little bit in the garden this week which was really enjoyable & got me out in the sunshine.

Unfortunately my DH is still having problems & the pain specialist now thinks he has bursitis which is causing the pain with his hip & separate from the back pain. So he has been referred to another specialist for an injection for the bursitis & has a date next month. If that works, they will look again at the back problem. Oh the joys of getting older!

Good morning red, kerri and Jeferey

Glad your mri has been done Jeferey, hope you get the results quickly.

Sorry your knee has been playing up red. Maybe you pushed your knee a little bit early and the knee didn;t like it. Just take things slow and easy and I am sure it will get better soon. Your poor dh as well having problems with his back and hip. Your right, getting older is a pain, none of our bits and bobs want to work properly any more so we end up limping, moaning and groaning. lol.

kerri, if your reading this, hope your ok.

Well my OT came yesterday and may as well not have bothered. She didn;t bring a shower seat, will have to get back to me...... waste of time tbh.

Lovely sunny weather today, lots of washing to get out on the line, hope the sunshine is here to stay.

    Take care guys

:hello: I'm still about, hanging in there - 'things' progressing but a way to go yet. Keeping me busy.

CW how frustrating about your OT - what exactly IS she doing apart from not bringing anything of use for you?

Red careful with that knee, keep the exercises up but give it time to heal too. And poor OH too.

jeferey fingers crossed your MRI will give you an idea of what's going on

I feel I need to crack out the WD40 for us all!

Gorgeous weather though - well here at least. Sat in the garden for a working lunch and ended up with one pink arm :o Will have to start sticking the sun cream on.

Thinking of you all even if I'm not posting much. Hope to be back proper soon. xx

Good morning red, kerri and Jeferey

kerri definately get that WD40 out for our knees. I am going to hospital in a min with my ds as he has to have an x ray of his right knee (same knee as me) as he has clicking in the knee and dr wants to see if he has arthritis.............. nice to see you posting as well.

Jeferey - hope you get your mri scan results soon. At least then they know what they are treating.

red - look after your knee as well, you don;t want to make it any worse by over working it. Hope your dh is ok.

I really don;t know what the OT is doing tbh. She has been twice and not brought the stool yet. In fact its a waste of time her coming as all she did say was its not recommended I use a perch stool in the shower. So I told her until she brings me a proper shower stool I don;t have a choice. So I am still waiting, bearing in mind my knee damage happened in January you can see how long this has been going on. At least I go to see the consultant next week.

Take care guys and look after your knees. lol.:)

Good morning red, kerri and Jeferey

What a day yesterday. Went with my ds for his x ray and then onto asda. Unfortunately an old man decided he wanted to reverse his car out of a space just as my son and I were behind him. We saw the car start to reverse and I yelled stop, my son banged his car and he still carried on reversing, luckily quite slowly. Other people yelled stop but lighting his ciggie was more important so he didn;t stop. We did manage to get out of his way, with difficulty, and were unhurt but shaken. He wasn;t even aware we were there, stupid man.

Hope everyone else had a better day than us.
