    ah...I did wonder! TY

gosh it's very hot already. Must be hot - the cat (old cat) who usually sleeps on my bed (for approx 23.5 hours a day;)) has slept on the floor.

I have my 'heat shield' up in the car and I bet it's STILL roasting - must declutter DD to work shortly.

Went last night to pick her up AND ALL THE ICE CREAM/ICE LOLLY FRIDGES IN MORRIES WERE LIKE MOTHER HUBBARD'S CUPBOARD! Doors wide open. I assume, since they've been relieved of their contents, that they were about to be cleaned. DD knew where the Magnums (on offer) were though, so we didn't come home empty-handed!

I wish we lived nearer the coast.

My barometer needle is moving to 'Very Dry'; the thermometer is showing 26 deg C (in the shade). - My mum's barometer is in Hungarian so goodness knows what weather she's having :rotfl:

My sister also has a barometer; they were all inherited! Mine's the only one with a thermometer!

3 hours sleep... I am not fit to inhabit this planet!!

I have a pounding head which has been drugged but there is no way I am going out of the house today. I am going to lie down in the darkened room until it is time to go home tomorrow.

I just got my mug out of the cupboard.. yes I have my own mug here too.. theirs are all stupid tiny.. anyway.. it appears it was not washed before being put away .. 8 weeks ago!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Decluttered husband and DD2 to tennis

    Question

Would you be narked if you had cooked and your OH got a takeaway? His excuse was he was in on his own.

Yes, unless it had been agreed in advance. OH does not like curry, so when I cook one he is under orders to sort himself out...

I wouldn't cook curry.. I'd just have gone for the takeaway and OH could cook his own lol.

My feet are all balloony and hurty and uncomfy.

Mug scrubbed, cuppa made... washed down with.. chocolate buttons for breakfast

CY ...THIS may be one you or DD1 can help with?

Morning all. I've not had a chance to catch up for a couple of days so hugs etc where needed.

All rooms have had attention this week so no flying except the dailies this weekend.

Had a great night out with DH last night, very little sleep (which seems to have been the case for everyone on here too). I may catch up later on sleep in the garden after going to the school fair.

    Have a great afternoon.

Yes I would; I would consider it disrespectful to 'us'.

    Am attempting to clear piles.

    Back from cricket

Bossy - we had slides into pools too

IMO the best way to keep kids safe is treat them how to respect water (especially tides etc) and to teach them to swim well and early. Obviously this is on top of supervision especially where they could slip and bang a head.

Washing on the line is the next job.
