I have no idea what that is.

2 chicken legs and a few new potatoes have been deposited down my throat.. Squeak outside supervised by OH who has been told in no uncertain terms that I am NOT sitting outside unless it is less than 18'C and cloudy and he is not to leave her unattended in the water or by the BBQ's ..

Squeak drowned a friend of his mother.. it was quite amusing..

Dot needs kicking out of bed.. but given she was awake almost constantly from 1am I don't think she will be too impressed!

:rotfl: at our picnic the boys were starting to get a bit antsy with each other so I called them over to the shade to see what was happening. Lots of finger pointing and gabbling about "Oliver keeps kicking the ball down those steps" and I could see they were all hot which wasn't helping. So I handed them all a paper cup each and began pouring, each one had a chance to whine about the others whilst he was getting his drink ;) By the time I got to DS it was all resolved and I turned to the first who promptly spilt his cup (full) all down my dress :rotfl: thankfully it was only water and quite refreshing actually heheh

Dinner eaten, both have cooled off and I've kept them in for the last few hours. Another 30 min and we'll water the garden and have some bubbles I think.

    Then it's bath and bed!

I have loaded the DW after dinner (and I cleaned the bath again this morning ) but other than that and kitchen dailies, not much is happening here. I have a box of holiday clothes in my room that needs a home. Might sort tonight...

there weren't enough blackcurrants so I had to brave the heat again and pick some more. Anyway, they are simmered now, so ready for sugar. Which I don't have.
    I'm having a :coffee: though, as I have ironed.*sweat*

According to my colleague it is BUCKETING down where AnWsMum lives  and I'm rather envious of Boddy!

Been out to do watering, found handful of tab ends of cigs and worse. Took them straight next door. I didn't even speak the lad took one look and said "oh god I'm really sorry" and put them in the bin! So I just said look I'm glad you had fun but I've a 2 & 4 yr old" and he apologised again. So fair play. Maybe he's not a n0b after all. I asked if they were partying again tonight and he said no, he's been cleaning all day :rotfl: someone spilt drink on his mums new carpet and they are back Monday:eek: I had to laugh...

Valli - picking mine tomorrow, I'll freeze most for cake, I love blackcurrant cake. I've still jam left from 2011 and cassis from 2012

I have dessert gosgogs to pick too.

Made elderflower cordial today which will need to be bottled tomorrow and I've swept and mopped the kitchen floor.

DH has just started painting the new plaster on the ceiling, I need to make our bed and give the bathroom a quick clean. I plan to hoover first thing tomorrow when its coolest.

    Hi all

Hope you're having a lovely weekend (sorry pigpen I know you're having a weekend from hell)

Spent most of the day in the garden. It's still looking a mess but I'm starting the planting stage so hopefully it won't be too many more weekends before it looks ok.

    Indoors flying has been limited:

WM x 2, hung out, got in and folded in the ironing basket
Bedding stripped and remade with fresh linen
DW put on and emptied when finished.

Currently enjoying an Ald! version of p!mms, very nice it is too.

Actually this weekend hasn't been too bad.. they are all outside getting skin cancer and I am inside with my knitting and my laptop.. it is very peaceful ... though not a window in the house open.. but then I'd complain about bugs so it's not necessarily a bad thing.

Pleased to hear it's not as bad as your previous visits - do they know/have they twigged you're 'with child'?
