I have painted the gate and a fence.Next dr but 2's cat now has 4 green paws. I knocked and told them.
    2 more x wm.

Chavs/yobs are having a house warning party over the road. They have crates of drinks and are standing in the road shouting. It s a bus route so could get messy. The music is very loud.

Rant here too. N0b next door is in party mode. Their music is so loud they can't hear their own little egos so are shouting over the top. The boys have been smoking pot (do they still call it that? I'm a bit out of touch :o) in the garden since 5 and now the girls have arrived so its all bravado time.

I've had to shut the windows and its warm :

I can only hope that all the fog will make them either a)fall asleep or b)get the munchies and p!ss off somewhere.

Same again tomorrow - more friends meeting for picnic in a local park. So will attack littlies with the p20 again. Although I may allow them to run around at 6am in the garden screaming if the neighbour really p!sses me off :rotfl:

I have this problem as a regular occurrence with my seemingly respectable and middle class neighbours, who are also very middle aged. It always happens on a Saturday night throughout the summer months. I now take great delight the next morning on tuning my radio to the Sunday Service and leave it playing very loudly against their boundary fence which also happens to be practically underneath their bedroom patio doors which are invariably open. I get great satisfaction in this act especially when you hear them slamming said doors. So definitely send the kids out screaming for all their worth, when mine were younger they would go for a bounce on their trampoline:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.
  • Hi everyone :-)

I will be joining next week as my house is starting to resemble a giant kennel (ie full of dog hair) - it doesn't seem to matter how much I hoover it!

And OHs idea of helping is to put mess into 'tidy' piles of mess!! Or to move the mess so it's a bit closer to where it should live but not quite there!

Hopefully this thread and the awesome motivation from everyone on here will help. My plan: Blitz the (whole....gulp) house tomorrow and then try and maintain. Wish me luck and pass the Pimms, I'm going in!!

Honestly, I think I'm going to fall asleep from the fog. It's the neighbours son. They have gone on holiday, so I was expecting it tbh. Calling on the karma fairy though. If she's any sense of justice the little twerp in the backwards cap and the little yellow Citroen, will go home to get changed and his car won't start, and he'll have to stay in with mama and papa watching dull tv :D or their stereo will blow! Yes, that one please, karma fairy :rotfl:

Can OH not get you a takeaway?

He is out doing just that now.. chocolate buttons and cheesy chips :A

Apparently 'her' funeral is 6th August so we can quite categorically state he isn't going.. it is near Bristol somewhere to which is waaaaay too far if I haven't had the baby by then it is likely to be any minute and I am NOT doing that without him. ... It does seem a long while after her death though.. a whole month!

My feetsies are huuuugely swollen and these had the cheek to say I 'look pale' actually no.. you are all this colour too except you have been getting skin cancer frazzling yourself outside!! I am going for the goth look lol.. actually I resemble one of those transparent slugs that has spent its entire life under a stone! :p

I am absolutely exhausted.. the drive nearly killed me and they lit BBQ's in the middle of the lawn and kept wandering off leaving them unattended so I had to sit outside in the disgusting heat.. with my factor 50 and my cardigan on! just to keep the monsters safe..

Is it just me that thinks the idea of a slide going into a paddling pool is stupid and potentially very dangerous?? I know I am a bit neurotic around water.. but really.. that is asking for trouble.. what if they go down fast and their head goes under the water and the panic and can't get out?? See.. neurotic!

  • Hi all x

My room looks like someone else's room which is brilliant. I've done 2 more hours of ironing and put it away. The dogs have been out and I'm now officially shattered! It's still too warm here.

    On the agenda tomorrow
    Clean out Rabbit
Finish the rest of the ironing
    Get DS1's room cleaned
Do something drastic in the LR and hall
Dust and Hoover the other rooms
After that I may just have a passable house!

Piggers I had a fit one time OH allowed the kids to put the slide into the pool. He was told on no uncertain terms that it wasn't on it was too dangerous. I told the weans however that it would rip the pool so it was best not to do it or they they would have no pool ;) so if your neurotic then so am I !

Night all hope everyone sleeps well and that the music suddenly goes off and won't come back on x
    I'm not a muggle...I'm just magically challenged
