Piggers I think we all said what goes around comes around, it just seems Karma caught up with her a little bit more quickly and permanently than anyone could have expected. Sad as it is for the friends and family involved for her passing, its now time for Mr Piggers to put his phone down and look forward to destressing and pampering you as you BOTH await this lovely bundle you have been brewing xxx

I'm in total agreement with CY here; Skinty has put it perfectly; but I will add, Piggers, that she made her choices.

Have two lots of washing out, have an errand to do and am 'volunteering' for Sports Day (the rescheduled one) having had an apology. DW has been emptied and a little bit of relocating done. Oh, annd I have ironed.

Have chuntered loudly at a post pub DS who must have come in with the munchies last night - because the freezer door was left open. He was informed of this at around 7:30. Loudly.:rotfl:

I need to develop a spine. I am too nice (IRL, obviously) and appear to be being roundly stitched up by a colleague. So I am NOT going to be bending over backwards to be my usual accomodating self. At least as far as this particular colleague's concerned anyway. Hopefully she will decide to accompany her OH when he goes abroad to work;).

    Good morning :D (just)
I haven't caught up on the thread completely, so hugs, spoons, etc where needed.

Yep - we are picking up on professionals here who should know better. There was a woman on one thread banging on about being a secondary English teacher - her post was full of innaccuracies (that clearly weren't typos) and she was most snippy when I pointed them out. If she couldn't be bothered to correct her own spellings then she should have kept quiet about her job;)

Grrr! I was doing an online course earlier this year (level 5, foundation degree) and one of the tutor's spelling and grammar was appalling!! And he had the cheek to mark ME down for grammar etc when he marked my assignment. I did complain to the course leader, but she just made excuses (re referencing, etc) I was going through a tough time at that point as well, so it was quite upsetting :( I hope to take it up again in September, but I am dreading the same tutor :(

Ok - need to get my btm in gear. DH has reminded me that I said I would make a bread pudding!

Anyone up for HHC at 12?

MinnieMousesMummy hope everything is ok with you and that your appointment goes ok tomorrow

MrsMP good luck vibes for our DS1

Pigpen hope you survive the weekend and that OH is doing ok

Didn't get to post last night because on my way home from my waxing appointment I found that there had just been an attempted robbery across the road from my house  It was someone who had just been trying his luck to see if any back doors were open, he entered one house and took the handbags but didn't realise the occupants were just out in the garden. They (two ladies) chased him and had quite a fight with him on the street, got their bags back, and he drove off. My DH had just ran outside to help when the man started to get back into his car but he managed to note the number plate of the car (which was later reported to be stolen). Cue police statements and general waiting around to see everyone was ok and for an ambulance. Can't believe it happened on our street at such a busy time of day. Scary stuff :(

So no flying happened yesterday after that apart from some basics. Today we have 3 houses for sale to view (after work), so I won't be home till late again. However, I am determined to get to the bottom of my ironing pile tonight, so my plan for this evening:

    Ironing
    More ironing
    Even more ironing :p

Hi all, late in this week as I've been busy but you wouldn't think it to look at the house :o

I've got a list of things to do today so I'm going to post that and then crack on until 1pm to see how much I can manage to get done.

(If it's crossed out its been done since I wrote this)

    Kitchen:
    [STRIKE]Wash up[/STRIKE]

    Wash vases
    [STRIKE]Tidy / wipe sides[/STRIKE]
Wipe ceiling (exploding cola the other day and I keep spotting areas that I've missed when I cleaned up :o:rotfl:)
    Vacuum
    Mop

    Livingroom:
    Ironing
    [STRIKE]Tidy[/STRIKE]
    Dust
    Clean mirrors
    Vacuum
    Mop

    Bathroom:
    Clean
    Clean towels
    Vacuum
    Mop

    Bedrooms:
    Change beds
    - currently both stripped
    Dust
    Vacuum
    Washing away

    General:
Un-label DD's uniform not needed for next year
    Laundry - 2nd load in
    M00np1g order

    Packing:
(DD goes away with school on Sunday so some will be delegated tonight
    )
Label towels (she'll be using them for swimming etc next year anyway ;))
    Set up pack list
Lay stuff out to make sure its all there
Find spray bottle she's supposed to be taking
Find a watch of hers that is functional!
Fill and label bottles with shampoo etc. With 25-29C temperatures I'm hoping she'll shower at some point
Remove labels from puzzle books she's taking (Yellow stickered and she doesn't want the other kids to know)
Notebook/pencil case (pens & spare batteries for her camera) for her to take to get some more autographs
    Find memory card for camera..
    .

...and the lists just keep on growing.

Right, shifting myself. Wash load out, another in and I'm going to wash up & do the kitchen.
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.
Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!

Well my HHC turned into 2xHHC's :)

Kitchen surfaces cleared & wiped, outside of microwave cleaned (inside has chicken sitting in it to thaw - away from cat), hob cleaned, dishcloth & scrubbing brushes soaking in bleach. I also have a bread pudding in the oven, stacked the DW & cleaned up after :) Doesn't look a lot now :o

Lunch scoffed. I have also had a call from DD1 in tears about her student finance. They are not going to give her anymore money as our income has not reduced by at least 15% Huh? DH worked for 75% of last financial year, and has not worked since. My income is probably higher than the year before, but not that much!! (it has since gone down again) Common sense would say a drop of about 20%. I need to do some sums & call them I think  They have only offered her enough to just about pay her rent. She is in her final year, has lectures every day & a dissertation to do. She doesn't have a job (Bo0ts terminated her contract last month as she was coming home). How is she supposed to live? DH isn't working and my estimated income for this year is about £7K!! I can't sub her :(
    :mad::mad: rant over - sorry!

    Ok - where's my calculator?
