  • Good afternoon everyone, I started off today with loads of motivation but I am struggling now due to some concerning news from the midwife, they are concerned about my blood pressure, swelling and the general way that I am feeling. I am getting a follow up on Saturday.

I am going to update my list and then try to get something done.

    Mysterious Monday
    1. Thin out the plants and repot as required
    2. Clear & clean the work surfaces in the kitchen

    Twinkling Tuesday
    1. Clean old pram and list for sale
    2. Sort through 3 bags of paperwork - file/shred

    Wednesday
    1. Do some course work
    2. Do hand washing that is needing done

    Tantalising Thursday
    1. Laundry (3 loads)
    2. Make shopping list & do weekly online shop
    3. Check Argos clearance sale (looking for some gifts for the present box)
    4. Water plants
    5. HH sorting emails - Delete 50
    6. Surveys & daily work
    7. Deliver customer orders
    8. Sort mystery shopping paperwork for today & Friday
    9. Do mystery shopping work that is in for today
    10. Spend an hour looking for freelance work
    11. Do some course work
    12. Sort paperwork & post letter

A good friend is coming over for a late lunch. We met in hospital in '93 when we ended up next to each other with our new born sons. Can't believe it was 19 years ago next week.

Good day wishes to all xx

20 surely? My DS was born in 93 and he's 20 this year!

Not done much. DS's ex GF (the one DD and I loved) has come. I've had a hug; DS is a gregarious type who makes, and keeps friends, and seems to be on good terms with a few exes. (One his best friends is female.) She's paid him to wash and valet her car! They've been fed. I'm off to the comp to see Les Mis later, with DD. If I can elbow her out of the LR I will make a start in there!

Interesting posts concerning teachers who can't spell/use correct grammar.:o It's something that really annoys me; I wouldn't say my spelling is perfect, but the "your a star" thing made me positively cringe!

My problem is inability to type; also I find I often don't press the letters on the keyboard with enough authority, so words will have a letter or two missing for that reason.

Flying - I've managed two WM loads and washed a dress by hand (one of those items that runs better than Usain Bolt so has to be done on its own). Everything bar the dress is all dry and in the airing cupboard.:T

Jessie Labrador will be arriving at 18:00, and Mr LW's pal is visiting us his evening. hence we're having mushroom risotto for dins; I can chuck everything in one pot and it pretty much makes itself!:D

Anyone got a UK Size 8 lookey-likey copy of a Victorian dress they want to see in a film?

Trust me on this one! I would suggest that they google "steampunk" or "goth" and the name of their town or city and see if there's a local group. Or contact the local comics shop as they may well know steampunks who might be prepared to lend a frock.

Local theatrical groups might be able to help.

    Hope that helps.:D

Actually it's DD2 who is jealous! She works with me atm and when she finishes I might tell the boss to check her bag - there may be one or two EYU kids in there (including the one who loves me)! I suspect she will be telling DH all about it tonight!
