With you spereading made up slurs agianst UKIP and stating you won't back down, and Sampong not ready to back down either, this could go on for a while.

From my point of view this is pretty simple. Clearly that picture is NOT him enacting or intending to enact a Nazi salute. Clearly you want to state people shouldn't vote for UKIP. Clearly sampong wants to state why people should vote for UKIP.

Spreading the facts is absolutely fine. But spreading lies isn't that.

You'd have been better off going for the picture of the bloke with a knife between his teeth. Messing around? Probably. But it's hardly a good image to put out there and that, no one can deny. That image says a lot more than the one with his arm in the air which people have tried to make so much from.

I'm not a UKIP "apologist". I don't "apologise" for supporting and voting UKIP. I am 100% proud to exercise my democratic right and to stick two fingers in the face of those who try to infer that all UKIP voters are bigots or ignoramuses. It is your language that is unacceptable. Not that it bothers me, but it does demonstrate a lack of human decency - on your part.

I find it amazing how some of these posters are so narrow minded when it comes to jumping on the "look how nasty UKIP are" bandwagon. Has everyone completely ignored the Unite / Labour scandal? Len McLuckshey is a nasty piece of work - not a Labourite but a Communist. Hes placing Labour councillors and MPs left right and centre - this is ok, but rumour that one UKIP member has been photographed doing a Nazi salute you go mental? Reality check maybe? Yes UKIP has some rotten eggs, Labour has lots and so do the Tories and Lib Dems. Surely the debate should be more about party policies not individuals?

And i find it amusing you mention about tax affairs but conveniently forget about Hodge the Dodge who has millions of pounds in trusts to avoid paying tax. Whilst it is not illegal they are probably all at it - hell, Ken Livingstone was especially having tried to have a go at Boris even though hes doing it himself to a worse extent, so why single one party out.

Yes, but I don't necessarily feel that I need to ram UKIP down people's throat's at every given opportunity. I do feel it necessary though to comment when people are spreading made up slurs as you point out. I also don't mind genuine debate about the policies of any party. But the problem is, when discussing for example - Immigration, when Hamish and Pricklepants can't convince everyone of their position and their facts start to break down, that is when the insults start and all UKIP voters become racists, bigots, xenophobes, homophobes, technophobes......
