  • The regenerator is still running, its taken over an hour so far. I think I'll get some sleep and let it run on. Will get back to you tomorrow night, if you're available, but I hope for your sake you'll be too busy enjoying your hols.

  • Done the bios update, it went through really quickly. laptop back but exactly the same as before.

    I've redone the bios.net toolkit, which I still cant upload to postimage.org, but it looks the same as the previous two.

    So I guess we're no further forward, any thoughts?

    I had exactly the same problem, couldn't resolve through official channels, resorted to running an activator - sorted.

    Bios flashing won't help you as the problem is embedded within the o/s checks.

    When I've pasted it into paint and saved it, I then go to imageupload and It says "the file name isn't valid", must be something I'm doing wrong.:cool:

    Saved it as what? JPEG? Under what name?
