    The regenerator is still running, its taken over an hour so far. I think I'll get some sleep and let it run on. Will get back to you tomorrow night, if you're available, but I hope for your sake you'll be too busy enjoying your hols.

    Done the bios update, it went through really quickly. laptop back but exactly the same as before.

    I've redone the bios.net toolkit, which I still cant upload to postimage.org, but it looks the same as the previous two.

    So I guess we're no further forward, any thoughts?

    I had exactly the same problem, couldn't resolve through official channels, resorted to running an activator - sorted.

    Bios flashing won't help you as the problem is embedded within the o/s checks.

    When I've pasted it into paint and saved it, I then go to imageupload and It says "the file name isn't valid", must be something I'm doing wrong.:cool:

    Saved it as what? JPEG? Under what name?
