    Thanks, to see what would happen, I tried to select my newly added Amex on ebuyer Google checkout and it adds something like "not valid" to the number and then disables the next button

    You do get some restaurants that don't accept Amex, can be embarrassing

    The reason why some retailers don't accept AMEX is due to the charges that AMEX charges the retailer, they are generally much higher than MC or Visa

    Does anyone can confirm how do we stand with Primark?
    I read somewhere that from 2013 they will accept Amex?
