If I recall correctly, someone posted on the forums before saying that JL accept Amex online, but not in store. I am not sure if this is still the case so it would be great if someone could clarify this. I've been wanting to use my Amex card in JL for ages.

Boots used to accept Amex, dropped it 2 or 3 years ago, but have just recently started taking it again.

Just rang John Lewis. They confirm they have just started taking Amex in-store. Women I spoke to thought it was as recent as this week!

Just thought I'd say that I've used the Amex card in a John Lewis store today without any problems whatsoever.
