Chatty, I forgot to say, if you decide to accept western union, don't fall for the scam where they send you a cheque for more than the required amount & then ask you to send the 'over' amount to them by western union.
Cheques are so last century, loads of shops & garages don't even accept them with a guarantee card anymore. From MSE Martin - Some General Tips On Holiday Home Organisations and Sales Meetings
DO NOT TOUCH ANY OF THEM WITH A BARGEPOLE!0 -

No you can't, as soon as you accept ebay's terms and conditions by opening an account you abide by their rules.
Western Union is forbidden on ebay, so you can't use that.

Ignore that, it you own something and you sell it, you can accept payment in what ever form you happen to choose. The money, Dave...0 -
There are more scams with western union than with any other form of payment.
As for accepting cash on ebay, you can accept cash, but you can't insist on it. I offer cash on delivery because we deliver using our own transport. My account manager tried telling me that it was against their rules. I challenged this saying that preventing people from accepting cash was illegal. She then got back to me and said it was ok.0 -

Other than paypal, at least with Western Union you end up with an address, even if it is in Lagos.
