Opened a Loyalty last month, didn`t take "on your side" "no shareholders to pay, that`s why we give better rates" long to make a chop.
So much for 15 plus years loyalty.

They also chopped the Flexclusive Saver from 1.4% to 1.2%. recently.

If you opened the Issue 4 then you'll get the old rate, it's only the new Issue 5 that has the lower rates

Bummer, maybe it's an Issue 1 thing, CS confirmed the Issue 4 1 year remains at 1.4%
  • I opened the latest issue a couple of weeks ago and they told me as I had over 15 years of savings the rate would be 1.7%. Has that changed now?

Cheers ColdIron - I have issue 4 as well. I did get a letter about old e-Savings Plus dropping but nothing yet about the (15 year) LS. Will keep my finger near the transfer button in case they're working their way through the 15 year ones...

    LOYALTY?

Nationwide's great 1.7% savings rate offer to customers of 15 years' loyalty was available to anyone five days earlier.

But in my opinion, if Nationwide is going to offer loyalty products, it needs to remember that many members will keep an eye on the savings market – and many would have noticed that the 1.7 per cent rate was open to all just days earlier.
This Loyalty Saver wouldn't make me feel special and rewarded for 15 years of custom.
