What's the name of the account that is currently paying 2.6% (for next 2 weeks anyway) ?
Is it the previous loyalty account in which case the account was only available to relatively low percentage of the Nationwide members.
Assuming it is going down to 2.1% then it is quite easily beatable (see #59) but maybe other accounts don't have same accessibility?0 -

Nationwide's Loyalty Saver Issue 1 for people who have an account for at least 15 years.Old_Slaphead wrote: »Assuming it is going down to 2.1% then it is quite easily beatable (see #59) but maybe other accounts don't have same accessibility?
If it's "quite easily beatable" then I'd like see another instant access savings account that currently offering more (which isn't a current account).0 -

I suspect you may be thinking of something else ... the Loyalty Saver has total balances of £8bn, so hardly a small account.0 -
Just opened one of these - didn't stop to think whether it was FP or not - apparently not as the 1k transferred from Natwest yesterday has not yet arrived.
Will have to transfer to my Nationwide current, then move again from there, which is a bit of a pain in the backside. C'est la vie.0 -

I moved £1000.00 from both my Flexdirects to Halifax and back again, all completed in about 5 minutes, due to having to log out and in to update accounts, deffo FP.
.Don`t steal - the Government doesn`t like the competition0 -

Payments made to a Loyalty Saver will go in by FP.
If your payment from yesterday has still not gone through then it's more likely to be a problem with Natwest.
Is it still showing on your Natwest statement?
Are you sure you got the sort code and account number correct?0 -
I have just received notification that the rate on 15-Year Loyalty Saver Issue 1 is to be reduced from 2.10% to 1.70% from 1st February.0

Just been told the 10 year one will be changing from 1.9% to 1.6% as well.
"But this is still one of the most competitive instant access accounts on the high street"
I beg to differ. I no longer use my Loyalty Saver as I have higher interest accounts elsewhere.0 -
You're doing well if that is without conditions. I've just opened a Loyalty Saver 4 at 1.7% and was impressed by the ease of setup. This is part of my cash resilience (i.e. non Internet) strategy, so I'm not too concerned about the rate for the small amount of money I keep in there.Just been told the 10 year one will be changing from 1.9% to 1.6% as well.
