Because its not possible to forcibly sterilise people, as lovely as that would be :)

I want to get sterilised but because I do not have or want children, the doctors will not allow it!

I never realised that was the case for women, us blokes can get the snip to avoid having kids so it should really be a womens choice.

I just saw that too. I'm wondering whether she 'wasn't' given it or that she turned it down after all the furore over it. Still; either way it looks like she's staying in the area for the near future...

She's a !!!!less chav and her poor kids have to grow up with her as an example. I bet we all know a family like it, l do, a girl with 11 kids in the village, two council houses knocked into one, different boyfriends none of them with a job. They have the latest tv and games consoles and as l said this is the childrens role model - so they will learn you can still have nice stuff whilst having no job.

I really despise the mentality that it's the Governments job to give you money and make your life better which all these people seems to have.

    Happy moneysaving all.

A few of the comments (I didn't see the said news report):

She has one tooth? At 37? I have more teeth than that, and I'm old enough to be her granny!

'Grandad was born at a time when there was no choice' - well, there has been 'choice' for a very very long time. There is historical evidence that middle-class Victorians started having fewer children because they wanted a better standard of living. Condoms have been available for a very long time. It depends what you mean by 'choice'. Of course, you could say that this woman has exercised 'choice' but equally, it's much more likely that it wasn't so much choice as a kind of laissez-faire attitude, laziness, go-with-the-flow kind of thing. Some people take responsibility for their own lives. Others do not - they see it as someone else's job to provide them with whatever they need, mop up the messes they make, make excuses for them.

I agree that the children - none of whom asked to be born - wouldn't do well in care. You hear so much about those children who fell victim to the sex-grooming gangs - many (not all) were in care and no one took responsibility for them at all.

It would be remarkable only if she were in employment rather than jobless.
You might as well ask the Wizard of Oz to give you a big number as pay a Credit Referencing Agency for a so-called 'credit-score'

No she has a tooth missing; which I think is the norm for the unemployed/great unwashed these days isn't it?

At least the shocking pink hair has gone now; she's gone back brown I think. Guess the pink was too identfiable in the playground...

I have a friend who is my age (26). She has number 8 on the way (one or two sets of twins I think). She thinks because she and her partner work no-one should be critical. Well they don't earn enough to be exempt from CB so they are obviously raking it in via CB& CTC.

Personally I think the lack of self control is astonishing!

she's your 'friend' but you don't know whether she has one or two sets of twins?

Too many sweets then. Those of us who grew up limited to 3 ounces of sweets a week have done better.
