I moved my cash isa here and also opened an e-saver and regular saver. But Yorkshire disappointed during the last round of rate increases. I feel now they will feel obliged to give the full 0.25%, otherwise they will start to lose a lot of savers. Or am I just hoping?

yorkshires reg saver/cash isa/ internet account interest rates are higher than most of the competition, (not highest overall) it should be remembered that their were other building societies taht didnt pass on the last 0.25% base rate increase on in full on some savings products as well. re no increase last time on yorkshire R/S, the other building societies can be blamed because their rates are still lower than yorkshires R/S rate despite no rate increase last time round on yorkshires R/S.0 -

Still time for hope. Traditional banks and B/S's tend to change rates at the start of the month folllowing base rate changes. They only announce the changes at the last minute - if at all.
Only lose hope if the don't change by August 2nd:-)Do Money Saving sites make you buy more bargains - and spend more money?0
