first time buyer account with bonus went up 0.32%
Indeed it did, to 6.35%. As a non-home owner, this is an ideal way to get my savings into a 6%+ payer ASAP (only conditions for the 6.35% are to deposit £100 minimum per month, and be a non-home owner or previous mortgager). For my savings which I can't get into my LTSB 8% RegSaver & YBS 7% Regular Saver, this is the ideal pot for the rest of my savings, excluding those in ISAs. It beats IceSave, ICICI and Birmingham Midshires
I've requested an application form online.Cider Country Solar PV generator: 3.7kWp Enfinity system on unshaded SE (-36deg azimuth) & 45deg roof0 -
When I studied the application pack it stated :
''The bonus only becomes payable when we issue you with a full mortage''
Does this still apply (my analysis for c. a year ago)?0 -

I think that's the £100 bonus on acceptance for a mortgage... which is separate to the interest rate. It talks of a conditional rate of interest, but I guess that is to do with the minimum £100 deposit each month?
As they don't appear to have the T&Cs online, I will have to wait to confirmCider Country Solar PV generator: 3.7kWp Enfinity system on unshaded SE (-36deg azimuth) & 45deg roof0
