New rates listed in the tables at https://www.moneyfacts.co.uk

Looks like 0.15% on both the Internet Saver (5.70%) and the e-ISA (5.80%), and nothing on the Regular Saver.

Also being discussed on the ISA board at http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=449350
  • I went into YBS today to open my regular saver and was told my the member of staff that the rates were going up again this sunday. :D

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, Dreams but the Regular Saver rate is not being increased, it is staying at 7%.

I went in this morning to put in this month's RS payment and the guy behind the counter made no mention of any increase in rate.

When I did the same in December, I think, the cashier did, on that occassion, tell me the rate was going up.

Read into the above what you will.

until their is any kind of savings account which lasts longer than 12 months with a higher rate than 7% gross very little we can do about it  and with so many limiting rises to less than the base rate increase, next time others will increase some rates by less than base rate increase as well

The new rates were in Friday's Daily Mail. Definitely no change to the Regular Saver, which is a shame as I was considering opening one.
    Great !

Its still better than a lot of regular savers because of the amount of deposit and it keeps running until 20 grand.
  • It keeps running perpetually if, when you get near the £20,000 limit, you withdraw £120 + interest each year and reduce your monthly payment to £10.

Don't let it stop you, it's still a good rate, does not flush after twelve months, has a limit of 500 a month and a max of 20K.
    Can't have it all. ;-)

yorkshire must be running it at a loss esp now we are in at least the 10th month of its operation ( in its current form) many of us within next few days will have 5000 lump sum in our reg saver account, nationwide cant afford to pay 7% even with a lower max monthly possible balance increase

bit off topic does anyone know what loughborough BS have gained by paying 8% from end of late march till now and by guaranteeing its reg saver + to be 2.5% gross higher than the base rate until end of march 2009
