Rafflecopter Help

So, I've had a search but, because it's late it's probably here somewhere.
I generally avoid Rafflecopters, due to them mostly taking forever to load in safari...
But, decided to wait (and be patient while clicking refresh numerous times)
I have always wondered if you are required to do all of the first steps, for example if it says 'leave a blog post' and 'tweet' before going onto extra entries, do you need to do both to be entered (or counted) even if the 'number of entries' is one (if you only leave the blog post)
I have never been quite sure!
Thanks!
P.S - Even though I've been comping for almost two years I have actually got no idea!

it says on the form how many entries you get for each step so I've always assumed you can pick & choose - some have compulsory steps before the form opens fullyproud gran to 4 lovely boys and one little girl0

To the best of my knowledge if you can tick the box it means it's allowed. Where you have to do one or several items before the others I'm nearly sure that 'the others' are hidden until you've done whichever opens them. I do tons of these - and got a WEM last night for some jelly bean sours from one :j I pick and choose the ones that I can do quickly and easily. Also, if it helps, I maintain my own dailies file which I add to as I find them. With RC comps I find the usual daily tweets very quick and easy to do. However, my suggestion is to just do whichever entries you want to until they become less confusing. It took me a little while for this to happen - but then I'm easily confused.

The entries that first show are compulsory and you won't be entered if the entries are not completed. I've done a tutorial on my blog that might be some help

So if it has 'complete these entries' to unlock more.
You have to do ALL of the compulsory ones to be counted? Even if it counts doing one of those things as one entry (or how ever many it says on the side)?
Maybe that's where I'm going wrong! (I am still overly confused now)!
That's a great guide by the way- Thanks! xx

Nellie, perhaps find one that is confusing you and post the linky to it here? One of us will talk/type you through it. They're easier than you think though - don't be put off.

Or, I've found one to see if I can get you started.
Have a peek at this:
Open the RC from this link
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4684431
It lists a few entries, but says you can earn 15 more entries if you do the first 7. So you can do as many or as few as you like from the first 7. All that you can do, and do will count, and will earn you entries.
However, If you want to access the final 15 entries, you have to complete the first 7.
So this one is as I said above. Any that it will let you enter will count. Any that are hidden from you are waiting to be unlocked, by completing whatever is required.
To put it simply, just do whatever you want from those entries open to you. They normally all count. Just get used to doing that until it starts to make more sense.

That's not how I know rafflecopter to work Blu,
The entries that show first are the compulsory ones which all need to be completed to unlock other entries, if you only do one of them you could be excluded.
For example my latest competition the first two entries were leaving a blog comment and following on bloglovin. If people only did one of these their entry was removed0 -
:rotfl: now I'm confused. That's how I've always done it, and I do win stuff. As it says 10 entries if you leave a blog comment, to me that means if that's all I do I still get 10 entries.
Having said that, I'm always wary of saying 'this is how it always works'. What I do know is that I learnt it as I went along, by doing the ones that I could do easily. And I have won quite a few times, so it must work - perhaps not for all of them though.
Wouldn't it tell you if it needed you to complete all of them for any to count?

The ones where all entries are already unlocked then you can pick and choose which entries you want to do.
The ones where entries can be 'unlocked' the entries already showing are compulsory
I can obviously only speak for myself but I do try and write that certain entries are compulsory but then most that I've entered don't appear to but their rafflecopters look the same as the ones I run0 -
I log into RC using an email address rather than FB.
For the FB entries, do I:
1. Just put my name in as I would normally have it
2. Just put in my FB username which I find in the address bar after clicking on my profile
3. Put the link to my FB profile (e.g. facebook.com/username)0
