Cost of window cleaner ?
Comments
-
I live in a London suburb & moved last summer. In that house I was being charged £6 for 3 outside windows. It started off at £7, then a few months down the line I think he worried about me finding out that other neighbours were paying less. Just before I moved I did find out that other neighbours who'd been customers longer than me were paying £5 for the same amount of windows.
My sills were never cleaned by the window cleaner either, whereas in past properties the window cleaner had always taken care to wipe the sills over. The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.
I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.0 -
I live Cheshire and pay £4 for 9 windows and doors.

I have had the same window cleaner for many years - his dad did the windows before him. Because I've known him since he was a lad I do cut some slack when he sometimes disappears for 6 weeks.
Before that we had one one those big firms who used to just post a bill through the door cos they knew we were at work all day. However one day I was in all day and lo and behold a bill was posted but no sign of a window cleaner.
Suffice to say the arrangement soon ended. 0 -
