Three One Plan from £15pm (UNL Data + Tethering)
Comments
-
Ah to clarify, they dropped the all you can eat data from The one plan, so you can tether, but its now limited.
Its £5 a month add on on the non one plan tariffs which have all you can eat data.
You are wrong. 100% wrong.
The new 1 month and 12 month deal come with unlimited data and unlimited tethering.
Deal is now live via phone and store. Website being updated soon.
For those asking about 4G go to threes network page and click on the uultrafast link0 -
I have advised my son to keep the 1 month One Plan at £18 (a £7 saving) as I just get the feeling Three might decide to stop the tethering from the 12 month deal at some stage.0

That would be the worst case scenario. And it would anger a lot of customers.
The best case scenario is that they do nothing.
And the realistic case is they'll do this- http://support.three.co.uk/srvs/cgi-bin/webisapi.dll?command=new,kb=mobile,ts=mobile,t=article,varset_cat=signal,varset_subcat=3804,case=obj(4046),varset_username=Mobile:mobileUser&typeSearch='traffic%20s*'
Basically traffic management at peak times on certain types of traffic. In this case, P2P and tethering.

I couldn't find the bit about you keeping unlimited data on Three with 4G. I know they've said you wont have to pay more but do you have a link of something stating you will keep unlimited data?
They don't have a 4G network yet, so there won't be any info relating to 4G on 3 yet. It could be the end of the year before 3 launch 4G.For those asking about 4G- http://www.three.co.uk/Discover/Built_for_internetting
You keep mentioning 4G, are you referring to DC-HSDPA? It isn't 4G, 3 don't have a 4G network yet. "Ultrafast" on 3 relates to 3G DC-HSDPA.
From your linkWe believe you shouldn’t have to wait for 4G to get a great internet experience.
That’s why we’ve already upgraded our 3G network with the latest DC-HSDPA technology to make it Ultrafast. We know, all those letters are a bit of a mouthful, so we affectionately refer to it as 3.9G.====0 -

Yeh i'm not an idiot mate. I know the difference between 4G LTE and DC-HSPA+. Maybe read my post next time.
I clearly said that once 4G launches at the end of the year, customers will stay on the same tariff and get access to the 4G network for free. No catch.
Go read the Three website, FT etc... The CEO has been publically advertising it himself and the three website has been advertising it for a while.
Oh and maybe read the page you quoted properly next time. scroll down a bit why don;t you.0 -
Zhuge
do you know why 3 have launched the 123 on their website but not changed the price plans on the sim only on their web page yet.
either way ill pop into store today to have a read0 -

No need to try and be sarcastic, especially when you have mixed present and future a number of times.
While you were pretty good at lifting other people's info from DS, it doesn't make you an expert on 3.
For example, your title of this thread:Unlimited 3G/4G data and tethering from Three @ £15pm
No, it isn't, the plan announced was Unlimited 3G data and tethering for £15pm, things could have changed by the time the 4G network comes on line. The price before the price drop was £25pm. But at £15pm this is a bargain and will be available to buy from three tomorrow.
http://www.three.co.uk
To sum up
-Unlimited data + Tethering
-Access to 3G/4G network
-£15pm
No it isn't, it offers access to the 3G network, there is no current 4G network to offer access to.That's correct.
However the Nexus 4 is a 3G device so you wouldn't get access to 4G.
Nonsense again, there is no 4G network for the poster to access.
For those asking about 4G go to threes network page and click on the uultrafast link
Nonsense again, "Ultrafast" relates to DC-HSDPA, it has nothing to do with 4G.====0 -

Maybe you should PM the guy on digital spy and ask him for his MSE username and HUKD username
And when i said 4G isn't out yet maybe that's a clue to my other posts. I told the guy you don't get 4G because it's not a 4G phone. But i also said before that you won't get 4G till it launches.
Also, Three will still be doing unlimited data and tethering on 4G.
And again. I suggest you read the link again. Maybe look at the image with the massive circle around it with the arrow pointing at LTE and DC-HSPA+ which says "This is ultrafast".
Feel free to suggest revisions to my post on where it could be misleading. Don't insult me as not knowing anything though.
Edit: in fact you quoted my digital spy post in another thread.0 -

I agree; stopping tethering full stop would be a bad move from a PR POV but like you intimate it's very easy to effectively reduce the ability of punters to tether by more subtle means. A bit like the Virgin Media u/l data offer where in real terms only the first 3.5gb is usable. Still would rather pay £36/yr more to have the chance to jump ship should they start with the nonsense, though.0
