Morning all, not long up here. Really have to stop that and get to bed a good time.
Looks like i'll be flying all day today with a trip to my sisters later with more washing. Washing machine coming on the 15th.
Suppose I best go get some washing sorted for MIL's machine, there away so it should be free.
Skinty thinking of you and your DD today.
Pigpen she looks so content.“Life is short, live it. Love is rare, grab it. Anger is bad, dump it. Fear is awful, face it. Memories are sweet, cherish it.”0 -
Morning All
I used my ‘me me me’time to stay pretty much glued to the tennis last night so only got a few things done. House is actually looking in decent shape, I will leave the LR floors until Saturday morning as we are having a wee get together on Saturday with our friends, we plan to have a bbq seeing as its to be nice but its still nice to have a clean house!!
My SIL took kids to a stunt show last night & decided she would keep them overnight (once in a blue moon she takes kids) DH was at my sisters building a shed, I thought we would get some time together, due to his shifts, we are like passing ships in the night but he didn’t come home until 10.30  by which time I was in bed reading & the shed still isn’t finished, my blinking back garden seats have still to be finished for Saturday so he better finish it quick or my dear sis will just have to wait for her shed to be finished!!! :rotfl:....Crapola, auditor just came in, he is with the boss just now so he will be with me in a moment I guess, cannot wait until 5pm, hate someone invading my personal space

(((Hugs))) and extra spoons to Skint and DD.
I'm always wary of leaving windows wide open, but even more so now that I know that next door's cat can climb up the roof and sit on our dormer window sills. I don't want her coming in and sleeping on our bed, nice little cat though she is
Plumbers still plumbing, DH and J still removing tiles and shifting boxes to the next location. Once the extra cupboards are fitted in the utility, I must move my temporary kitchen yet again.
Some phonecalls already made, others still need to be done. One parcel to post. Somebody collecting old sink unit today - I hope! More trips to the tip.
Isn't life wonderful? :rotfl:
Mrs-mp: what is marshmallow fluff? Sounds yummy
Squeak obviously had fun :T0 -
I have just wasted another two hours of my life trying to get Virgin to sort out their Frog. Frog-munching is bad enough, but this one's turning out to be Frog-flavoured chewing gum. *seriously unhappy face*
Mrs Dog will be on the receiving end of some thorough personal flying today.

I think we'll all agree she is just a tad scruffy, and is finally off to the Poodle Parlour this morning. She will be dunked, clipped, dried, cut, trimmed and styled, teeth brushed (oh please! I hate dog breath) and emerge three hours later smelling like a tart's boudoir. I can't wait to get her back to see what she looks like under all the neglect.
House flying-wise, the kitchen is getting a serious clean with cupboards being sorted out, supplies being stock-checked and everything being scrubbed within an inch of its life. Things are going to be exceptionally busy over the next month or so, and vast amounts of food will have to be prepared here for around 20 people on random days, as well as serious flying in several properties. I'm on a countdown.Better is good enough.0 -

Yorkie, I found that Age UK have a really simple phone but don't have experience of it. But I'd keep that as a last resort. And put a rubber band round whichever phone you get to keep the battery in:rotfl:
I wonder if BT do the repairs for the Post Office and you're on BT time scales? Just a thought.‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch.
