I am thinking of joining talktalk for my phone and broadband ,moving from bt and have been advised on here that the shopping voucher goes up and down in value ,would this be correct as it is currently sitting at £25 ,is it worth hanging on for more ?

The vouchers can vary but there's also cash back to consider which is often a lot more than the vouchers anyway. I'd go for it as soon as you can.Dont do it0

I use AOL/talktalk and have used AOL for over 10years.
Never once had a minute of downtime.
Seems just as good as the rest.
If you google for bad you will find they all show up.0 -
I wouldn't recommend them after their saleswoman lied to me after I pointed it out that I was getting a better deal from Sky.0

I know there are mixed opinions of TalkTalk, and when I was with them back in 2006 they were awful (the broadband was so badly over subscribed, I couldn't connect during peak times). I am now back with them because of their awesome TV deal and their products have improved a lot, the broadband service has been perfect - maybe not their customer service in some respects - but stick with the official TalkTalk Members Forums where possible and you can't fault it really.
I really like talk talk - I have their phone & BB.
What's their awesome tv deal?
I have sky, I've only ever had sky & I can never understand exactly what others are offering.
With sky I have multi room in 1 bedroom, can I do that with another?0 -
it seems with TT its a toss of the coin on the reliability, CS of the service from them. But certainly price is definitely competitive.
I am too in position where i need to choose a BB provider and though i want Sky, they are really fobbing me off and TT seem to be the only alternative thats value for money unless i want to pay extortionate BT pricesTotal Debt in June 2013: Barclaycard 0% until Nov 2014: £1550

I moved to TT and got £70 vouchers, delivered to my house by carrier, within 2 weeks of the switch .
My IT specialist friend told me that the router they sent is not working, so we are using the existing one, which is from AOL> moving was easy as the only thing that changed was the price.
Can the poster above link me to the TT thread?please.0 -
Hi
I moved from o2broadband to Talk Talk landline and Broadband. £70 cashback from Topcash .. it tracked..
Yesterday Line was took over.. Broadband worked without changing the O2 router.. It just continued working..
Phoned o2 today to inform them. They says Talk Talk didn't use the MAC code.. so they taken over the line... So o2 are going to use 7 days notice from today..
Otherwise so far so good.

Hi everyone,
Like my name suggets I am VERY annoyed at TalkTalk....
I signed up through MoneySavingExpert.com when they advertised love to shop vouchers valuing £100.00 will be sent out as part of the deal - cant go wrong.......
I registered online, clicked the link to activate the voucher issue, and was advised these would be sent out in 28 days....
Nothing. I called TalkTalk - call centre in India or Manilla, so VERY difficult to understand them and for them to understand me. I informed them of this offer, to which (after being passed from one person to the next) that the offer is only £25.00. and that I was WRONG!!!
Now they have stated that they are emailing MoneySavingExpert regarding this (I pointed out that I STILL have Martin's email confirming this offer), but they were not interested. I offered to email it to them - they said they do not have an email address!!!!!! - but that I could FAX it!!! What!?!
They have booked a "call back" with me on Thursday this week, i gave them my mobile number as I am away a lot of the time, in fact I called them on 5 separate occasions to tell them this and someone from TalkTalk KEEPS calling the landline and harrasing my elderly mother, which is upsetting her.
I have spent a LOT of time on my mobile contacting them and no one can inform me what is going onh, and still the calls to the landline.
Incompetent is the only word I can use to describe them, I am annoyed that they are distressing another member of my family and ignoring my requests and calling me a liar regarding the offer that WAS available at the time of sign up. Also, the amount of time I have spent calling them to get nowhere is disgusting. With my experience of their customer services "Manager's" I cant aee them sorting this issue out and making right my awful time with them.
If a representative from TalkTalk VIEWS THIS, i WOULD APPRECIATE YOUR RESPONSE. Many thanks.0
