Re: To Be Won
What I got from that is there's a possibility that the way the comp works is:
They pull 400 names. Those are not winners, they are potential winners.
Then, in my head, what could happen is for each name an algorithm is run which determines if the name is an actual winner. Like each name gets a pull on a slot machine.
I've no idea if any of that is true, but that's what the post made me think of.0 -
Rafflecopter, effort, on air, FB2019: Footcream, tickets to homebuilding show,
£100 leisure vouchers, funky iron0 -
"Personal shopping". It usually means someone telling you what to wear for your body shape etc and coming out with the most hideous clothes.
I like my style already so it really puts me off from entering!

When you see the details of a competition which words mostly in the title scare you away from entering?
Mine is seeing the word EFFORT especially if it's one ending soon.
Is yours twitter, facebook or another word.
"Win a holiday for two"...never thought about it before we had the girls, but how many 'Family' magazines & websites only ever offer holidays for two........& don't get me started about the 'Family' holidays that can't be taken during school holidays..or easter...or Whitsuntide...or December...or........
OK rant over, I've had a nice day out today on my motorbike in the sunshine.
Happy comping.0 -

Happy comping.
the ASA has ruled that a holiday cannot be called a family holiday if you can't take it during school holidays - if they are reported they will be told off & hopefully won't do it in futureproud gran to 4 lovely boys and one little girl0
