    Back again....'Easter Egg Hunt' AAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

I hate Easter Egg Hunts, especially if the site has 1001 pages with loads of links to search through!!! - This Easter's Oasis Easter Egg Hunt (daily on Facebook) really !!!!!! me off! Every day loads of fans were posting that they had searched and searched and could not find the egg and Oasis would give out NO CLUES or sympathy!
:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea

'Wish List' ! hate those too - you get your hopes up by making your greatest wish list - only not to win! Sometimes they take a while to create too!

Rafflecopter and Facebook. Which is a shame really as more and more competitions seem to require those now :(.

Recommend a friend for extra votes...
Get a quote (they say you can opt out of receiving phone calls from them but does it work? no!)

Oh and words that are spelt incorrectly... shows lack of proof-reading

Example from one recently: "Enter you're friends email for an extra chance!"

    Appalling!

I detest voting comps as they usually aren't fair, also 'photo effort' for the same reason. I don't enter anything on gransnet or mature times as I think it's unfair to enter on places I am yet to meet the criteria. Treasure hunts as they take too much time and surveys. Rafflecopters don't put me off unless they are for a tiny prize but have a lot of hurdles to jump....... so um not a lot then ;)
Starting afresh - comping as much as poss!

Hoping for: some beauty goods, clothes, amazon vouchers, anime, manga, wardrobe, fridge freezer, laptop, an ipad, vouchers for next, exercise goods, a uk break and a wee hol somewhere nice!
    Wishing all a little luck:beer:

    Definitely 'Rafflecopter'
Sometimes it doesn't even say so in the title like the facebook (fb) and Twitter (TW) ones on here, so I often click on something with a great prize only to find it's Rafflecopter and quickly move on!

Twitter - as I don't have an account, so don't bother with them.
Rafflecopter - only do these extremely rarely if it's a prize I'd really like, as most of them involve Twitter for more entries - see above
Photo upload / effort - hardly ever bother with these, although "slight effort" is fine lol
If ever I see the words dog / cat / horse / fishing / craft in the title, I just X it straight away without looking
And "play game" normally puts me off, I don't mind if it's an all participants go into a draw kind of game, but the leaderboard ones are just impossible and pointless!!!

On air was one of my nightmare scenarios until I entered a joke on Heartfm not knowing they would ring you up.............which they did at 8.30am one morning.

I'm a very shy person but didn't have time say anything before they put me through to Toby Anstis (Rabbit in the headlights time )

But....I told the joke and won a TV, Sky plus box and all the channels for a year.
Would I do it again? Not a chance in hell :rotfl::rotfl:

Similar thing happened to me!!! I usually run a mile from comps that have "must go on air" in the description, but I entered the XFM weekly to win the Sonos Play 3 thingy thinking they'd just ring or email the winner. Nuh-uh - I had to go on air, not once but twice!!! Once for the London station then they rang me back half an hour later and I had to do it again for the Manchester station!! Never been so nervous in my life!!! At least I didn't have to tell a joke though - now that WOULD be nervewracking!!!

I wouldn't enter a competition where a personal shopper would help you choose, however great the prize was.

    No way Jose!
