Hiya just bought a russel hobbs old fashioned type at morrisons £22 works fine and element etc can ve replaced. My electrician mate says these are the best kettles to get as most things can be replaced.
Also do write to Tefal as I've found them very helpful when I had probs with something.0 -
I have just bought a new kettle from Amazon:

I went for a Bosch eventually, as it was the only one with a 2 year guarantee. I have several other Bosch tools and white goods, all of which had good build quality and reliability to date.
Fingers crossed that it outlasts the previous kettle!
