Thanks Marisco, your 'hug' just made me cry! (not the first time today). Pregnancy hormones are really not helping the situation either.
She understands why I can't be there and she knows I was there the times it was rained off too. She keeps saying 'it's fine Mum..' clearly just me that has the problem with it then.

What I didn't know until I had children -
The complete and utter overwhelming feeling of love, pride and emotion that you feel when they are first delivered and handed straight to you.
The fear of "not being there" should they need you, even when they are teens and are out and about.
How funny and what good company they can be from an early age.

That you can't just take a day off!!

That they would be the best thing I ever did and
