Hi,
Yes the cosy was from a pattern here
http://justjen-knitsandstitches.blogspot.com.au/2012/10/reindeer-cup-cosy.html
Just to let you know though it only fits a really skinny mug if you were thinking of making so more rows would be needed for bigger mugs, seeing as we have quite big mugs for our tea, I just knitted it to the pattern then did not realise until after I had knitted it up0 -
i hope this thread is going to continue in the new year. i love seeing everyones makes and getting inspiration from themSPC~12 ot 124

Here is my sprout wreath made for my sprout loving sister.
Was quite pleased how it turned out ... my sister loved it :-)
1 silver tinsel wreath, 1 coloured piece of tinsel and a pack of 2 bows ... all from the pound shop!!!
(Better on your door than on your plate I reckon .... yuk, I hate sprouts!!)A creative mess is better than tidy idleness0 -

That's amaIng and so much better than the original wreath you found. If I saw that in a shop I would be so tempted to buy it!Best wins in 2013 £200 and Mini iPad. 2014 no wins. 2015 2 nights 5* hotel with £300 vouchers plus £1150 Harrods gift card

Thank you, I thought that as well and did toy with changing them to red ones, i know in the story she gets the red shoes from the witch who her house falls on cant remember what shoes she had at the beginning or other parts of the film/book. it does say on the kit packaging that the images are based on the characters in the original book by L. Frank. Baum so im assuming there is a reason for them being green and not red.
did i miss the photo of your completed stocking?SPC~12 ot 124
