Breakfast: Home made bread with honey and banana & OJ
Lunch: Scrambled eggs on HM bread, Yogurt
Dinner: Sweet and sour chicken (using up some of the chicken I cooked in the slow cooker yesterday, it was a buy 2 for £5 offer from Farm foods so cheap)
followed by pancakes with Blackberry preserve(thank you Queenie!) I am going to try to freeze some of this preserve as I have far too much! I had to use up loads of my frozen home grown blackberries in a hurry a couple of months ago when my kitchen was re-fitted hence the large quantity of the stuff!!
I love this thread by the way as it really focus's my mind on what to serve up each meal time! Our days are happier when we give people a bit of our heart rather than a piece of our mind.

Ooooo I was about to go searching for this thread so thanks for bringing it back to front page :T
Was just to say really that I've just made a lovely pesto with some rather wilting baby spinach and watercress I had left in the fridge but didn't want to throw it out and it was a bit past it's best to make a salad with
Currently got some linguine on the boil to go with it and can't wait to tuck into it

Sounds lovely C-Q have you posted the recipie for the pesto on the recipie thread. I'd like to have a go at making that.
I've missed breakfast, can't be bothered with lunch, but will be having spag bol for dinner. And no judgements on missing meals, I often only eat one a day and I'm still huge.;)0 -
lunch is leftover pasta with leftover pesto with leftover mushrooms and 1/2 can tuna that I opened to share with the cats! Our days are happier when we give people a bit of our heart rather than a piece of our mind.

I haven't but I suppose I could ... only problem being I have no exact weights or measurements as I just throw in a bit o' this and bit o' that till it tastes rightI've missed breakfast, can't be bothered with lunch, but will be having spag bol for dinner. I'm the same so don't worry, and very rarely eat breakfast unless I've been up since some ungodly hour so it's more like lunch to me even if it's breakfast timeI often skip lunch too if i can't be bothered then have an early tea when DS get's home from school.
Did you know though that only eating once a day doesn't make you lose weight as your body goes into starvation mode and hangs onto surplus reserves
I joined WW about 3 yrs ago and forced myself to eat 3-4 times a day to follow their diet plans, meaning I was eating far more than usual, but I still lost weight every week :j"An Ye Harm None, Do What Ye Will"

Yep I know that . I don't do it to lose weight, i think it's just being on my during the day makes me too lazy to eat. Plus I spend far too much time on this site reading the recipies and so on to have any time to cook:rotfl:
Must try harder next week.:D0
